『If you're wondering when will the betrayal happens, I promise, it will happen next chapter but now it's just another boring chapter that will somewhat caught your attention or whatever. I feel unconfident without comments on my book  and I can't write or focus when there's no comments on the new chapters.』

"Finally, I manage to make it!" Takeru breathed in relief after a long walk from the station to Lumiose City in half an hour. He was lucky he managed to get a pass to Lumiose City, or else he'll have to walk miles away from Laverre City to Lumiose. He could asked Kayote to lend his Staraptor, since his Noibat was still too small to fly onboard with a person until evolving into a Noivern, but Kayote would probably just leave him walking down.

He pushed himself into the soft seat, sighing in satisfaction as his back was met with a soft greeting.

"Man, only one more Gym left and I'm all set for the Kalos League." Though, the Kalos League that will be starting in Lumiose City will begin another six months. Plenty times to train, considering his Pokémon will need to get extra stronger and Noibat evolving into a Noivern. He has Absol, Alakazam, Noibat, Volcarona, Aegislash, and Druddigon, whom is under a care of a guy he didn't know, but trusted enough to let him take care of Druddigon and exchanged numbers.

Speaking of numbers, he pulled out his Xtransceiver, typing the numbers down of the guy that is taking care of his Druddigon and place the phone over his ear, awaiting for him to pick up his call and waited until he picks up.

"Hello?"

"How's my Druddigon doing?"

"Oh, are you perhaps Druddigon's Trainer that my son bought back so he can tend him?"

"Yes, excuse me, but sorry if I am being rude, who are you?"

"Ah! Apologies. My name is Delia Redraigver, I am Ash's mother. And if you are wondering about Druddigon, he's alright, but my son had left to the Kalos Professor's Laboratory, concerns about the energy level your Druddigon is radiating."

"I don't understand."

"Me, too, but my boy wouldn't tell me a word. Geez, now a 23-year-old man and still more focus on Pokémon than finding a girlfriend. I swear, I am going to become an old lady at this rate..."

Takeru laughed awkwardly. "I'm sorry to hear that, Mrs. Delia."

"It's nothing. I'll let Ash know you called. I think he will call you once he gets back, if he had gone to Professor Sycamore's Lab to research on the DNA test Druddigon has."

Takeru frowned. He did not feel anymore safe of thinking his poor Druddigon.

"Is he really alright, Mrs. Delia?"

"You and the big guy shares quite a bond, huh?" The woman giggled on the other side of the phone. "Don't worry, Takeru, sweetie. Druddigon will be alright. My son will do anything to help him."

"Thank you, Mrs. Delia."

"And you're 100% positive your machine isn't broken, Professor Sycamore?" A man in his twenties asked, frowning. Sporting a slightly long dark ravenous spiky hair with fringes styled over his right side, a short facial beard, azure electric blue eyes that glows ethereally, light skin tone, the man is pretty tall and leaned, as well as slightly muscular, wearing a black short-sleeved button shirt, black 5.11 pants, brown Magnum boots, and a gray belt that holds six Poké Balls, Ash rubbed his forehead and stared at the words imprinting on the machine's screen with a look of fascination.

"Yup. Apparently, the DNA you bring me also shows positive readings of a Mega Evolution, similar to yours." Sycamore grinned. "Permanent Mega Evolution is merely a joke. Though, you, however, broke that joke and reality when you overcome the impossibility. A Mega Charizard Y, permanently in its Mega Evolution state. Fascinating, isn't it?" Ash glanced at a Poké Ball that looks a bit scarred at the top, the one that holds his original Pokémon he'd gotten from Professor Oak when it was still a little Charmander.
