Chapter V: Aftermath

『So, I heard you don't like the book I wasted so many goddamn hours, you son of a b—』

"Tell me why are we are inside of a cacoon?" Takeru asked blankly. It has been a week since he had woken up and met the harsh truth of reality. He was still angry and sorrowful of the events that had happened, he realized who he should really blamed. The traitors.

He wasn't getting used but he was reaching there with Celeste. Both couldn't talk or interact with the outside world anymore so they had to learn to depend on each other. Celeste holds a huge grudge against them like he does, making Ash to berated them vengeance was not an option for them.

They did asked why but he just said he'll die if they do, so they try to not think of ways to get their vengeance, as much as Ash's worries.

Now, they were inside a cacoon building. A large one, but the insides looked unrealistic. Beautiful flowers and gardens around. They could see many Pokémon around the place, and what had made them curious was five odd looking Pokémon led by a red one.

"You two need more Pokémon." Ash yawned, drinking a flask as he wore a dark blue short-sleeved button shirt with some of the buttons untouched that exposed his collarbone, black pants and brown shoes. "I destroy your Pokédex right away before I asked Xerneas to resurrected Celeste. The thing has a tracking device so I can't let anyone know my house's location. You're off the grid completely."

Takeru's jaw dropped. "You did not just destroyed my Pokédex." Celeste snickered, she was wearing a black short-sleeved shirt with a white hoodie and black jeans and black shoes. Takeru wore a white T-shirt, black pants, blue hoodie and white sneakers. Ash did brought a lot of clothing and accessories for them, foods and waters were nothing considering Ash is pretty rich.

"Mine is gone already since it die with me." She then paused before bursting into red. "Uh, one question: when I was brought back to life, did you see my...?" Ash paused and look questioningly at Celeste's blushing expression.

"No, you were in pieces when I found you, so I placed you on the bed, talk to Xerneas, and brought you back from the dead. I didn't see you naked, and if I did, I might as well shoot my eyes." Ash remarked, drinking his flask back as Celeste sighed in relief and almost disappointment. "Sorry, I'm not interested in young ladies." She bursted into a red tomato while Takeru barely holds in a laugh.

"I-I didn't said that, you- What the fuck?!" She was suddenly picked off the ground by one of the machine looking creatures. Ash drink his flask casually while Takeru watched with shock and panic.

"The Genesects don't like loud noises so I'd suggest to be quiet." Ash sighed before looking at a worried Takeru. "Don't worry, they're incredibly gentle." Though, back then, they weren't actually gentle. "Anyway, I'd brought you and Celeste here because I have a list of Pokémon you'll need. The Pokémon here are under the care of the Genesects, so you can pick anyone." Handing Takeru a paper, the boy reads it and sent a questioning look at the adult.

"Wait, it said only the word, "All". What does that mean?"

"There's 32 Pokémon here. You and Celeste gets half of them. T, you get the leader of the Genesect, the ones with a blue and yellow drive, while Celeste gets the remains." Ash yawned. He'd slept late last night just to listed what kinds of Pokémon they need to captured.

"Cofagrigus, Golurk, Shiny Gengar, Rowlet, Zweilous, Axew, Dragonite, Shiny Gardevoir, Beedrill, Alakazam, Mandibuzz, Umbreon, Volcarona, Shiftry, and Bisharp. Red Genesect, Douse and Shock Drive Genesect." Takeru reads out loud, before he looked next to him, seeing Celeste on the ground with a Genesect next to her, one with the Chill Drive.
