Forgiveness

The next day when Darshan went in college, he was talking to his friends then one of his friend suddenly spoke about something which Darshan don't like. By that they had an argument. It was for around an hour. They were insulting & saying whatever came in their mind. Then they decided not to talk to each other. Darshan's another friend came to Darshan & said "apologize your mistake. Go & say sorry to him. There's no use of arguing." But Darshan ignored. In the evening, Eliza asked "What's wrong with you? Why're you acting strange today?" Darshan was already pissed off & after Eliza said these, Darshan slapped her & shouted "Why do you ask so many questions? Can't you do your own work? Stop disturbing me. LEAVE ME RIGHT NOW." Eliza tried not to cry but from her left eye tears were rolling down. She left by saying "I didn't expect this from you."
They both kept on ignoring each other but they were realizing their mistake. They didn't speak to each other for several days. On the other hand, Eliza had many sleepless nights & she still used to think about him. Suddenly Darshan appeared infront of her. Darshan was saying her "I'm sorry for that day. I was pissed off. If possible forgive me." By saying this, Darshan went. She felt bad. She started crying. She went to washroom to wash her face. She decided "I won't forgive him because it's not the first time he did such things." And this created misunderstandings between them. They were now "just friends." They both saw each other everyday in college but they ignored. Darshan knew it was his mistake. They both acted like strangers infront of everyone. They both were hurt. They just smiled infront of everyone to hide their pain. They hid their pain behind their smile. They pretend to be very happy eventhough they weren't. Darshan's friend dropped him in his home. He kept his bag & he started drinking alcohol. He drank around four bottles. He was drunk. He fell asleep. After Eliza reached home, she locked herself in a room. She was upset. She was overthinking the whole day & she felt that her heart was heavy. She was saying "Crying is a way to show that you're hurt."
Few days later Darshan was saying to his friend "People who don't understand your silence, won't understand your words & feelings." He was still thinking "Eliza forgave me or not?"
