Kyotani

If there's one thing you would know about Kyotani,its that you will instantly pick-up what he's feeling. Like,that time someone cut him in line,he had growled and barked at the person like a dog. When he got a free extra of his favorite Hamima Chicken,his eyes would soften as he happily shared it with M/n (he would have shared it with the male nonetheless). And when both males couldnt hang-out together because the rain had dropped hard,M/n would hear Kyotani moping on the phone when they called each other.

Any person could easily tell what the blond was feeling,which was exactly why M/n was left to scramble in his own thoughts when the male began to be indifferent towards him.

With every step M/n took towards Kyotani,the male would quickly walk away. Whenever M/n would call out towards the blond teen, he would see Kyotani flinch before acting as if he hadn't heard him. When M/n asked if Kyotani  wanted to partner up with him during work,Kyotani would instantly pull the person closest to him and tell M/n he already had a partner. Despite the quivering figure of their unsuspecting classmate, M/n watched them walk away to start on the seat work.

This had been going on for a couple days now and M/n honestly thought this was just an off day. That at some point Kyotani would stop avoiding him and they could go back to being best friends again. But that hadn't been the case as four days has passed and nothing was going back to the way it was before.

M/n had racked his brain and he still had no clue why his best friend was doing this,and he was slowly losing patience. He hadn't done anything wrong,not anything that he remembered. And he already asked his teammates if they had any clue why Kyotani was like this. Mostly Iwaizumi, the older male had been much more help than any of them but he still had zero clue.

M/n had taken matters into his own hands and took extreme measures just to get Kyotani to talk to him. He chased him around the school grounds before, between amd after classes. He anticipated where Kyotani was most likely to go,which wasnt that hard considering the male knew him like the back of his hand, and met him there,only to proceed chasing him again when he tried to escape.

Now dont get M/n wrong, he doesnt like it when he restricts someones of their movements in ways they want,especially if they are uncomfortable but he so as went ahead to pin Kyotani against the wall after chasing him around. Truth be told,it had garnered some unwanted attention but M/n was more intent to pleading Kyotani for answers.

M/n knew he shouldn't have made such a bold move as he watched Kyotani's expression harden but he was slowly growing desperate. He hadn't had a single word out before he was quickly shoved back as Kyotani walked away. To say M/n was surprised would be an understatement. He was more angry than shocked.

With the last of his patience being thrown out the window,he growled out a frustrated 'fine!' Before stomping away to the other direction. Matsukawa and Iwaizumi,who had seen that awkward quarrel, watched with uneased expressions as both their underclassmen and fellow teammates walk away with tension thicker than ice.

Practice had been awkward. Although they were glad both males still put a lot of effort and didn't bother to bring anything personal during practice,they were also barely interacting. No concerned side glances had been spared, not a single word had been exchanged,not even a single act of acknowledgement. And it was slowly eating up the whole team, because that was a clear sign it was definitely trouble.

That is exactly why Iwaizumi has taken it into himself,being the only one other than M/n that Kyotani would ever listen to (until recently), to talk to the blond himself.

"Be careful,Iwa-chan," Oikawa mused "he might bite of your head-!" Oikawa yelped out in pain as the ball bounced off his own head. Iwaizumi didn't bother to argue with Oikawa as the brunet took off to argue with the suspect of the attack. Which was M/n himself. Whether he had done it on purpose or not,Iwaizumi wasn't the person to know.
