Three days have passed since Tim left. I keep a watch out the windows awaiting his return, but nonetheless, he doesn't come back. I have yet to see him walking up the drive, his aura yet to enter the mansion. It annoys me that I could not follow him where he may go. His presence, though I hadn't realized until now, was rather comforting. With him gone and slender always off doing whatever it is he does, not even god could track him, I'm left to tend to the mansion. Everyone does their parts but it's just not the same. I could play it off as him being on a mission, as him simply going off to kill whatever unfortunate soul that happened upon being chosen for that day. Perhaps he was on a simple mission, I could lie to myself forever with that. Except for the fact I knew exactly where he'd gone. By this time he's found a trail or found the place, but without a doubt he's out somewhere, miles away, looking for a way through Zalgo's army. It's without a doubt he'll have one. And without a doubt someone here may fall. My biggest fear is that, and just that. That... and the fear of losing Tim... I can only hope for his safety, and beg god that he returns soon.
"(y/n), please come here..." A voice rings through the silence of my room snapping me out of my thoughts. I stand up from where I sit walking over to the voice. Of course I recognize the rough throaty hum that is given as a hand brushes over my cheek. See, there's something to know about Jeff, he's got a deep laugh. His voice isn't that rough but when he laughs it always sound dark. Unless it's over something bloody, then it switches to an almost high pitched sound, cackling over the gore. I feel arms wrap around me, "Look, I know you're worried about the shit, but he's fine. Promise. He cares about you too much to get in harms way." he comforts me. I quickly hug him back tightly trying not to raise a fuss about how worried I really am, but I fear it's of no use. He knows Exactly how much I care for him. He knows that I'm awake well into the night waiting for Tim, he's seen me watch the windows past the Television when we are relaxing a bit after a hard day of setting traps and keeping an eye out for any suspicious figures.
I let out a small sigh as Jeff comforts me, and before I know it my worry starts to fade a little. It could be the warmth, or maybe it's the fact that Tim walked up the stairs without me realizing it and threw his steel-toed boot at Jeff's head. Needless to say that was a "Hands off my Girlfriend/boyfriend" move. Also needless to say I may or may not have nearly taken the both of us down the stairs when I tackled him. He caught himself laughing on the top step though. "How'd you do that?" "Do...What?" "Hide your presence, I didn't sense you coming home..." I sit up a little and I can hear the smile in his voice. His aura returns to normal to where I could find him easily from miles away, and I sigh, "training then."
Dinner rolls around and we all gather in the kitchen sitting down. Masky jokes with everyone and we all have a blast now that he is home. But even though I'm glad to hear he's home, I can't help but wonder where he was, what he found. "Child, it's time to go. We have work to do." Slender's voice screams in my head, It's louder than ever before. I turn to see him in the kitchen doorway and I sigh standing up from the table. Everyone quiet's until I leave, a faint whisper of concern drifts by my ear. I walk with him out of the house and he wraps me up in... whatever... Tentacles, shadow arms, long black pool noodles, whatever they are. With a moments breath I can no longer breathe. everything shifts and I know we've teleported, but this time I feel a sickness come from my stomach. once I am released I drop to my knees and retch. My stomach has weakened a bit since the last encounter with Zalgo. I cough a bit and barely make it to a stand. Slender places a hand on my should walking past me, and when I look up, I see a dark place. The tree's look White, as if life was not something they had known for years. The leaves were non-existent and the dirt was dry as if that of the desert sands. the mansion lay before us in shambles and the sky's are painted red. It's like I can see... But cannot...
I walk inside the ruins of the house and glance at piles of ashes, and old pieces of the television. the glass on the devise shattered and the edges burnt. Still warm. I can see everyone laying on the ground, now simply corpses slowly being returned to the earth. Burnt on some bits and on the others, bloody. Tim's face is almost unrecognizable...
"If we are not ready, then this is our future. Will you train to fight Zalgo? To take him alone?" Slender asks standing behind me. I grit my teeth and ball my hands into fists. I can feel the wind start to blow rapidly around us as I growl, "Just tell me what I have to do." I turn to him. "Tell me what I have to do to kill Zalgo!" I lash out slinging a hand out to the forest sending a bolt through the air bring down around ten or more tree's. Beside my feet lay Sally, gripping a burnt doll, Steam marks left on her face from the tears she had cried. The air is heavy with ash and dust, and the gloom is unbearable. This is what Zalgo brings. This is what will happen to the one's closest to me if he is not defeated. This, will be the last straw. I'll be damned to the deepest depths of hell before he touch one hair on Sally's head, and I'll be dead before I let harm come to those I love. Even after death he'll have hell comin' his way, for I will not rest until he is DEAD.
Look out Zalgo. I'm coming for YOU.
