Annoying iphone ringtone

You decide not to get out of bed but instead, you lay there, blurring out the sound of your phone ringing. You chose to lie in the comfort of your bed and realised how the soft texture of your duvet cover always makes you feel safe and secure. To you, it was just a little taste of heaven. You fell back into reality as you rolled over, turning to your desk, reaching out to answer the phone. As you went to accept the call, your phone stopped ringing revealing a whole lot of missed calls sitting amongst your other notifications. You let out a loud sigh.

"Here we go"

You went for a quick shower and got dressed as fast as you could knowing damn well that the traffic would be bad. You had made it just in time for the bus. After you tagged on, annoyance took over you as you noticed that all the seats were taken and you'd have to spend the rest of this long journey, standing.

you made it to work on time, which was a first for you. As you opened the door of your job, you felt the warmth of the restaurant hit you, while you closed your eyes, soaking up all the positive energy.

"ahh look who's here early"

opening your eyes, you were welcomed by a soft voice attached to a familiar face which seemed to be your best friend, Hoseok who stood in front of you, with both hands on his hips.

"good morning to you too hobi"
you pat his head smiling before walking past him.

"And when were you gonna answer my calls?"
He says, following behind you, as you chuckle.

The day went on normal nothing crazy no karen's today everything had been going great Hobi told you about how dance been going and about his family "yeah they miss you so much y/n" he gives pout in the middle of his sentence

"Yeah i mis-" you were about to answer him before your phone started ringing. You pull your phone out of your pocket seeing it was your boyfri- instead of dawdling in your thoughts, you picked up straight away.

"Hi, babe" you look at Hoseok sending him an apologetic smile, mouthing "sorry".
He waves you off whispering "it's okay". You walk out to the back room, seeking for privacy.

"Hey, what's up?" you say with the sweetest voice.

"I wanna break up."
Everything stopped as if time had no longer existed.

Did I hear him right? He couldn't have said that. Why would he?

So many thoughts ran through your head. You began contemplating what to say
but suddenly forgot about all those thoughts as the only thing that managed to escape your lips was..."wh-what"

"i wanna break up." His voice sounded different, like someone you didn't even know.

"This better be a joke because it's not funny." you prayed and hoped that it was a joke and that he was just pulling yet another prank on you.

"No, I'm being serious. i'm done with us." He didn't stutter. He didn't sound sincere either.

"Di-did i do something wrong?" You start to worry and think the worst.

Is he actually going to leave me? No he can't! He's the only good thing that's happened so far in my life.

"No-"

"then is it me? I'll change. i-i'll change for y-you." you stutter, losing all focus.

" y/n-"

" i'll do anything please don-"

but this time he cuts you off from talking "see this why i wanna end this your too clingy i can't be with someone that's just going to pull me down"

You lost all words not being able to speak. Clingy I'm too clingy? "I can change, I'll be less clingy i promise-" before you could finish your sentence you could hear someone else on the other side of the line "is there someone else there with you?"

he sighs "y/n i've been with lyn for the pass month"

your eyes widen you felt pure rage poor out of you "so you skipped our anniversary FOR a SLUT" before he could reply back you hanged up on him not wanting to hear his excuses anymore

Why is everything going wrong in your life? Things were going so great. He was honestly the best thing that's happened to you, the only person you had left but now he's.. Gone. you feel as though everything is falling apart again like before but only worse like your whole world is breaking apart and it's getting ready to explode. You start to feel your eyes sting tears trying to fall from your eyes wishing to be free to let all the pain out but you don't you chose to straighten yourself out hiding your pain, and how much you wanna scream and cry but stead you filter it completely you can do it right? You've done it so many times before so it can't be that hard.

As you turned around to go back hoseok you saw him there standing in the doorway with a sad smile. He opened his arms out offering a hug, he heard everything. you felt warm tears trickle down your cheeks setting them self free. You couldn't hold them back anymore. And gave in to him you run into his arms breaking down your wars for him knowing you can trust him because you knew he would never judge you so you don't hide your pain in front of him, but even if you tried you knew your wars were too weak to hide it all that they could have broken at any second.

You need to let it all out now or the pain will worsen even more "w-what did i do wrong?"
He doesn't answer you he just holds you there in his arms kissing the top of your head
"Why doesn't anyone want me... " you whisper this but it was enough for him to still you

He pulls back a bit still holding you in his arms but enough for you too to look face to face "don't say that" you shake your head "b-but it's true because if it wasn't.. why would he leave me fo-..for her..?"

"Because he realised that you were too good for him of course and that you are amazing but you don't need him anyway" he pulls you make in to the hug resting his chin on your shoulder "forget him love because if he was worth it he wouldn't have hurt you, your like a beautiful flower that needs all the love and adoration" he pulls away fully. He pats your head before turning away and walking off .

but before he fully disappears he yells out "better start cooking cause it's not gonna do it itself"

You and hoseok ended up being the ones that closed up since you guys worked longer hours so you had to walk home in the dark. Hobi couldn't walk you home since he lived opposite ways from you so you both parted ways after cleaning up.

As you were making your way to the bus stop you started to recall all what happened today. You couldn't believe that he had left and you couldn't believe even more than.. He had cheated on you.. With her. You thought that everything was going amazing, you knew you guys had some ups and downs but you didn't know that was how he really felt. You felt yourself starting to fall back into all the memories how sweet they were how much they meant to you. Stop to wipe the tears that were trying to fall.

After feeling that you have it together you continue on home
