Chapter 6 - Singing

Rosita was nervous and Gunter could tell. Rosita was taking in deep breaths as they sat in the waiting room. The place was huge and held many recording studios. 

"Rosita! Gunter!" They heard and say Nancy walking up. 

"It's so good to see you again! Come, lets talk in my office." She says. They follow her and once in, they see its a recording office. 

"OK, OK, First, I know you guys can sing But i want to hear you sing with no rehearsing. I want it raw and see how you both handle pressure. You both can talk about what song though. Let me know when your ready." Nancy says and sits down. Gunter and Rosita look at each other and smiled. 

"We are ready." They both say. They both knew what song was perfect right now for them. Nancy nod and got the name of the song. He then put it in and pushed play on Carrie Underwoods - Before He Cheats 

Right now, he's probably slow dancing
With a bleached-blond tramp
And she's probably getting frisky
Right now, he's probably buying
Her some fruity little drink

Rosita sang out load. It felt good because she was putting all her feelings into it. All the hurt she felt.

Right now, he's probably up behind her
With a pool-stick
Showing her how to shoot a combo
And he don't know

Gunter sang. He could feel Rositas energy and matched it. All that was needed now was a little dancing. 

I dug my key into the side
Of his pretty little souped-up four-wheel drive
Carved my name into his leather seats
I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights
I slashed a hole in all four tires
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats

They both sang together. Gunter then took her hand and spun her around. He saw her smile and they started to dance. It was fun because they both were just being them selfs.  

Right now, she's probably up singing some
White-trash version of Shania karaoke
Right now, she's probably saying "I'm drunk"
And he's a-thinking that he's gonna get lucky

Rosita sang and ran her hands on Gunter's back. it made his blush a bit but he didn't show it and sing the next part as he took her hand.

Gunter dipped Rosita.

They finished it off together and by the time it was finished, they were out of breath but smiling. 

"That...that was so much fun." Rosita said and laughs. They then heard clapping and looked. They forgot about Nancy because they got lost in the music. 

"That was Totally amazing! You guys will be such a huge hit and i know that first place you will preform." Nancy said and took her phone out.

"Hello, Mr. Moon?...Yes My name is Nancy North of Double N songs...Yes...Yes thank you again. I'm calling to book your stage for some singers of mine. You might remember them as Rosita and Gunter...Yes...How about we all do lunch Today and talk about it?... Les Calmars is perfect. See you then." She says and hangs up. 

"Lets go meet him. I have a limo we can take." She says and stands.
