"If My Walls Could Talk"

If my walls could talk
They would have a lot to say
A lot secrets
A lot of pain

They've seen all of my vulnerable states
They served as my safe place

They've seen me at my worst
Crying so hard,
that my lungs could burst
Thoughts poisoning my mind
Made me think I could never be whole
That I won't even find the passion,
I was born to find

Saw me trying to seek hope and failing
Seemed like whatever light I had left, was sailing
Sailing away, far away

But they've also heard my laughs
My jumps of joy,
over the small things
Because I know I've finally found my hope
The hope for something better
The hope that kept going
The hope that kept me alive

Boy if my walls could talk,
They would have a beautiful story to tell
