If my walls could talk
They would have a lot to say
A lot secrets
A lot of painThey've seen all of my vulnerable states
They served as my safe placeThey've seen me at my worst
Crying so hard,
that my lungs could burst
Thoughts poisoning my mind
Made me think I could never be whole
That I won't even find the passion,
I was born to findSaw me trying to seek hope and failing
Seemed like whatever light I had left, was sailing
Sailing away, far awayBut they've also heard my laughs
My jumps of joy,
over the small things
Because I know I've finally found my hope
The hope for something better
The hope that kept going
The hope that kept me aliveBoy if my walls could talk,
They would have a beautiful story to tell
