It was getting dark when Wendigo stepped out of the warehouse. She had no doubts about her plans; her only hiccup, that stupid girl, was quite easily disposed of. Phase three would be a bit more iffy. She would need to shut down the entire city. No one gets in, and no one gets out. Luckily for her, she had the orb.

Ideally, she would create a sort of "wall" around the city, a barrier if you will. The city would be under a giant dome, like bugs in a jar. To accomplish such a feat, she would need to be at the exact center of her home town. According to her research, dead center would be in Aimsville park, just above Aimsville Lake. As she flew into the air she remembered the many days she had spent with Jasper at the lake. Granted, she couldn't swim with her wings, but she could fly around the lake with ease.

"My gosh, Wendi, can't you flap a little faster?" Jaz laughed as the flew towards the park. It was pretty warm out for spring break, so the two were planning to spend the afternoon by the lake.

"What do you think I am, an airplane?" she laughed, rolling her eyes, and she swooped down, then right back up again.

"Gah," he yelped. Soon Wendi was hovering several yards above the lake, and a plan came to form in the back of her mind. A giggle may or may not have escaped. "Wendi," he said slowly, "Wendi, what are you doing?"

"What do you think?" she snickered, "Say 'bye bye,' Jazzie." Then she dropped him down down down into the water.

It wasn't but a couple seconds before he resurfaced, sputtering a calling out playful threats to his sister, but she only laughed and fluttered away.

She made it to the lake, and flew out towards the center. It no longer mattered whether or not anyone saw her; the people would soon be trapped anyways. When she finished phase the next phase there would be no way in or out of Aimsville. Once she finished there would be afresh start for the city, no villains, no heroes, and no people.

The people enjoying the sunshine on the shore gawked and pointed at the girl hovering high above them. Wendigo pulled out the orb out of her satchel and focused all her energy on her goal, a dome covering the entire city. As she closed her eyes, the sphere began to glow blue. She raised it over her head, and it felt like an explosion took place as a barrier began to spread across the sky. In a matter of seconds it had expanded as far as the eye could see. Within minutes the city shook as the barrier hit the ground outside the city.

The people of Aimsville are trapped, like bugs under a microscope.

Let's go start our fire, shall we?

Away she flew, leaving the people at the lake confused and in shock. What was happening to their home?

She flew to the edge of the Eastern edge of the city, Aimsville forest, to complete the easiest step of her mission, setting her fire. The fire would cleanse the city to give everyone a fresh start, a clean slate was exactly what everyone needed.

It was beginning to get dark when she landed in a forest clearing. The fire would be easy enough to start, although she would lose her most treasured possession in the process. She would have to leave the orb behind to keep the fire going. The fire would start from the orb and spread across the city. Once the blue sphere caught fire, there would be no going back. She sat the orb down on an old stump, "I'll miss you, my friend," she said softly, "thanks for the help."

Time to go, darling. There's so much more we must do.

She focused her energy one last time, and blue fire began to swell from the clouded blue sphere. Soon the orb could no longer be see for the fire that consumed the ancient trunk.

Better move before it eats you; we have two more stops to make.

With that she flew away.
