Dracos heart raced. He heard Hermiones parents echoing throughout his brain.

"There isn't much time."
"Help her. Save her."

He started running along the tracks that were made from her, assuming she was the one who fell out of the window.

"Granger!" He screamed as he entered the forest. Maybe she just left.

His heart hurt and his eyes felt heavy. He was so scared something happened.

"Hermione!!" He screamed out again. He so desperately wanted an answer. But none came.

The tracks were getting closer together and he looked ahead of him, to see Hermiones hair lying in the snow.

"Shit!" He screamed running over to her through the snow. He fell to his knees quickly and rolled her over on his lap. She was unconscious.

He had to check her pulse for himself. There was one. Thank Merlin, she had a pulse.

But she was freezing. Her picked up her frail body and looked up to Ginny with frustration in his eyes.

"We can't bring her to Mungos." She said lowly. Dracos eyes grew to an angry silver.

"Take her to school. I'll even have a nurse from Mungos come to school. But if we go to Mugos we won't even get into the hospital. We'll be swarmed by reporters." She said with tears in her eyes.

"That's where I'll be then."

He apparated with her in his hands. The rest of the crew that were left there stared at eachother.

"Why would you guys take her?" Pansy asked turning around.

"We wanted to save her from him! And everything he stands for!" Ron spit back at her.

"You could've said where she was. He thought she was dead." Theo said pleading with them. Ginny wouldn't meet their eyes. She knew all along something was wrong.

"We thought we we're keeping her safe." Harry said lowly. Blaise sighed. They could argue this at another time.

"Let's talk about this later. I'm going to Hogwarts." He said them apparated into thin air. The rest followed him.

Once they all landed near Hogwarts, Blaise began walking towards the building. He thought about his best friend, and how he just wanted the best for him. He knew she is the best for him.

She brings out this light, in everyone she meets. He thought back fondly of a time in sixth year when Hermione changed his view on life.

Standing in the astronomy tower, Blaise peered over the edge of the railing. It wouldn't be too far of a drop, and he doesn't think he'd really even feel it.

He looked back at a paper he left. He had to do this, there was no other way out. He took a deep breath and looked back down.

"Stop!" He heard someone scream. He turned around to see Hermione Granger. What did she care. She took a step closer to him.

"Please you don't want to do this..." She whispered, as her eyes were wide. Blaise turned back around and looked back down. He sighed and turned around and sat near Hermione. His hands met his face, and his body shook. He was crying.

"I'm so sorry." She whispered and hugged him. His sobs grew louder, and Hermione cast a silent spell on the room they were in.

"You've made it past the hard part, Blaise. You're still here." She removed his hands from his hands and saw his broken figure.

"Granger..I cant do it...i can't be apart of them anymore." He said silently. She brought him in close.

"In anyway I can...I'll help you. I swear. And no one needs to know about this, if you promise never to attempt this again." She said becoming teary eyes herself. He sniffled then looked back at her.

"Why are you doing this? Helping me?" He grew confused.

"Nobody deserves to feel the way you feel." She said simply.

"Blaise." Pansy said bringing him back from his memory. Those were really dark times for him. He was scared, when they gave him the death mark.

"Yeah what is it?"

"You were just staring into space..are you okay?" He nodded and continued to walk.

Then he stopped in the middle of the hallway and sat down on a bench.

Pansy sat with him, as the rest continued to walk toward the Hospital Wing.

"I tried to kill myself in the sixth year Pans." He came out and said it. He turned to see her eyes wide and confused.

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"I was so ashamed. But...hermione she stopped me. Then comforted me. In sixth year. I never said thank you." He stared ahead of him. Pansy sighed and placed her hand on his.

"Fourth year...Yule ball. Draco ditched me, and I was so upset I went to cry in the bathroom. Hermione came in and asked if I was okay."

Pansy looked at herself in the mirror, she was so stupid. She thought Draco cared for her...when he so obviously didn't.

"Are you alright?" She heard someone say. She quickly wiped her tears and turned to see Hermione Granger.

"I'm fine. Purple isn't your color." She said fixing her makeup in the mirror.

"Well I think you look beautiful...And i'm sorry for whatever happened." She shrugged and walked away.

"How could i be so blind. She was simply kind to everyone. What is Draco going to do...if if."

"No ifs. Let's go see her." Blaise took Pansys hand. They walked to the hospital wing to see Draco sitting next to Hermione, who notably looked pale.

The others were surrounded around her. The two surrounded her as well.

"What do we know?" Pansy asked fearful of the answer.

"She is really sick. But she'll wake up soon." Draco mumbled holding her hand to his mouth.
"Sprained ankle." His eyes didn't leave her face. He was so content just being in her presence.

"Can i please be alone?" He asked whispering. Everyone nodded leaving the two of them with eachother. Draco could only pray her eyes would open soon.
