The Navi treasured life that was apparent for everyone to see. Their connection to the world was strong, little could break the respect they had for it. But, even with a bond so close, understanding and knowledge were not guaranteed thing. One could feel a connection to something or someone without truly knowing how it worked, how they thought. And so was the same for the Navi and Eywa.

Tsutey had been told many stories about how important and sacred Tsaheylu was, an intimate act that would forever bind two Navi together. But, being young and desperate is a state where the thought is not always present. It was different to here talks about Tsaheylu than to actually feel it. No matter how many times another describes something, it doesnt accurately describe to someone else.

However, Tsutey was sure that this was not the Tsaheylu of two Navi.

It was too similar to what he had felt before between himself and a direhorse. There was no intense connection that he knew was supposed to be present between Navi. And for this, Tsutey would forever be thankful. He would, however, would never truly understood how Eywa worked.

The connection was still there, between himself and the beast boy, invading his mind and altering his senses. The ikran-boys rapid breaths of fear, the muscles clenching and tensing ready to fly. The boys mind was rapid-fire giving-Tsutey an intense headache and the boy an opening to dislodge Tsutey. In under a second, the connection was broken as Tsutey went sailing through the air, landing with a thump a couple meters away.

The loss of Tsahelyu was too sudden, furthering Tsuteys headache. Giving a grunt, he slowly put his hands to his head, trying to push the pain away. His hair was a mess falling in his face, and his braid coming undone. His head snapped up when he heard the growl of the ikran-boy.

Their eyes were locked- green to gold.

It was a frozen, stiff sort of moment that passed between the two. Tsutey confused and in pain, the ikran-boy wary and guarded. In a battle of wills, it seemed, they didnt break eye contact, neither moving nor breathing. Until the footsteps and shouts of the guards reached both their ears, and the ikran-boy flicked away his eyes.

Tsutey watched, frozen in his ungraceful heap, as the boy turned ikran looked at him once more before backing away. Before Tsutey could move, the ikran-boy threw himself off the canopy. Running over to the side of the branch, Tsutey looked down and was once again pushed onto his back. The ikran-boy had snapped open his wings and flew straight up, right past Tsuteys face, the force of the snap pushing him down.

Tsutey just sat there and watched as the boy slowly became a spot in the distance, and the guards finally found him. He just sat there as they checked him over, their questions flying right by as white noise to Tsutey ears. For the moment that would disrupt the rest of his life just happened, and the cause of that disruption was flying away. But Tsutey knew they would be separated forever, as, in that short amount of time, something magical happened.

He saw memories of the ikran-boys life. And he knew where to find him.
