Fighting for Love (Tord x Reader)

A request

No one's POV:

Pau and Pat had wanted a child for a while after they were married. But there was a little problem, they were in the Red Army. Which provided a few complications, like the fact that no child should be in an army and that everything, and I mean EVERYTHING had to be approved by the RED LEADER.

Third person POV:

"You wanted to speak with me?" The Red Leader said calmly as Pau and Pat walked into his office. "Yes sir. We have a...question to ask to you that concerns Pau and I." Pat said pausing mid-way. "Very well ask away." He quickly responded. "We would like to have a child sir."

The Red Leader quickly looked up from his work papers to look at the soldiers in front of him. "Oh," was his response. Pau's eyes widened and a dark blush spread across Pat's face. "Not like that sir we want to adopt one!" Pau responded noticing that Pat was unable to speak due to embarrassment. "Oh that makes sense. You two just about gave me a heart attack!" Their leader laughed, a small "heh" was all Pat was able to manage.

"Well I don't see why not...except that this is a MILITARY and not a daycare." Was the leader's response, his voice raising a little while saying military. "Yes we know sir, but we plan of taking care of them so no one has to worry about the kid." Pau replied as calmly as he could. "Well you better take care of it, it's a PERSON after all." He paused. "You can get a kid but I have some conditions." Both men leaned forward at this. "What are they?" Pat questioned. "Well first it has to be a reasonable age, they have to be able to defend themselves as well," He said thinking, "so they will have to train." Pat leaned back in his chair, the thought of his child getting hurt worried him.

"We can train them," Pau suggested. His leader waved his hand as if to wave the idea away, "no they can just train with Tord, he needs to talk to people anyway. As long as they fit those descriptions it'll be alright." The Red Leader waved the soldiers away, signaling for them to leave. Both Pat and Pau thanked their leader and got up to leave. Before leaving Pau leaned back into the room. "Thanks Jakob, this means a lot to both of us." He grinned after calling his leader by name. "Your welcome, now get out before I throw a chair at you for what you just pulled." He replied with a small smile. Pau left closing the door after him and joining his husband in the hallway.
