Pau's POV:
We finally made it back home. Usually Pat would be very happy to talk to (Y/N) but this time he seemed...frightened. I wrapped my arm around his shoulders and gave him a quick kiss. "We got this." I told him, looking him straight in the eye.Your POV:
I was laying in bed thinking about things I would miss while I was dead. Then there was a loud bang downstairs. OH NO THEY FOUND OUT I WAS IN THEIR OFFICE! THEY'RE GOING TO SHOOT ME! You quickly ran to your closet and hid behind your clothes then shut the door."(Y/N) WHERE ARE YOU?" You heard Pau call for you from downstairs. A few minutes passed before you heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Guess he got tired of waiting for you. Like I'm gonna come to you when you're trying to shoot me. A few more seconds and then your door flung open.
"(Y/N)! Where are you?" You could tell it was Pat's voice this time. You whimpered from fear, this was it you had made it to fourteen at least. Pat must have heard you because suddenly the door was torn open. "There you are!" He cried, relief flooding into his voice as he pulled you into a tight embrace. Why's he so happy about this? I thought they would be angry when they found out. You pushed Pat away. "Is there something you want to tell us kiddo?" Pau joked, pointing to the closet. They must not know yet. You decided to play it off for now.
"I thought you guys were robbers." You lied feeling guilt start to pool in your stomach. "But you know we have every security device that exists." Pau asked with one eyebrow raised in suspicion. "Well you can never be to sure. This was the first time both of you were gone and I was really scared." You lied again, you were becoming very good at that lately. "That's good that you hid, even though you almost gave me a heart attack!" Pat congratulated.
"Now come on... P-Pau and I have something to tell after dinner." He said, Pat usually only stutters when he's hiding something. You knew both of your dads very well by now, enough to know when they were acting strange. Pat never stutters. He has always been a good lier but every time he lied to you or talked to you about a few specific things he would occasionally stutter.
You followed your parents downstairs to the kitchen. "You'll have to grab some leftovers to heat up since we couldn't get anything on the way home." Pau told you opening the fridge. "How does spaghetti sound?" He asked you. "Sounds good." You said quietly looking at the floor. "What's up with you kiddo?" He asked while heating up your food.
"Nothing." You sighed in response. "Come on, you're too young to sigh. There's something up with you isn't there?" He just insisted on getting an answer for you didn't he? "Everything's fine." You were starting to get agitated. Pau looked at you with shock and pain in his eyes but said nothing. The microwave beeped signaling that your food was ready. "Here, eat up." Pau said sounding a bit hurt. That only increased your guilt.
You sat down at the table and started to eat, not even waiting for Pau and Pat like you usually do. It took awhile for them to come in but when they did come in Pau still looked sad but Pat looked at you with absolute anger burning in his eyes. "What's up with you, why do you seem to think you can talk to Pau the way you just did?" He said, seething with anger and rage.
"Nothing, what's up with you to think there's something wrong with me." You retorted, getting even more aggravated with them. "There's nothing wrong with you but I DO have a problem with your attitude!" His voice was raised now, and you were kind of scared but you weren't backing down now.
"NO WHAT MADE YOU THINK IT WAS OKAY TO HIDE SO MANY THINGS FROM ME FOR SO LONG? HUH? WHY WOULD YOU HIDE ALL OF THIS FROM ME!?" You screamed at them. When you had finally realized what you said you covered you mouth with one hand while pushing back your chair with the other.
"(Y/N) wait come back-!" But it was to late by the time you had locked yourself in your room they had only made it halfway up the stairs.Constant pounding sounded on your door as Pau and Pat tried to get to you. Hot tears started streaming from your eyes as you cried your heart out. They're going to kill me now! I never should have opened my mouth! You cried even more now at the thought of being killed by your only family. But as soon as you were about you accept death Pau and Pat barged into your room. Quickly you hid behind the other side of your bed even though you knew it wouldn't be any good.
"(Y/N) please come here." Pau said in a calming voice. "We won't hurt you we just want to talk to you sweetness." Pat joined in, now it was obvious they didn't want to hurt or scare you. So looking over the side of the bed you saw Pau and Pat looking at you with their arms wide open. I don't care anymore I still love them and if they really love me they won't kill me. You climbed over your bed and ran into their outstretched arms. They wrapped their arms around you so tight that you thought they would never let go, and you wouldn't mind if they didn't.
"I went into your office." You suddenly blurted out. "I-know-you-told-me-not-to-but-the-door-was-open-this-time. And-I -just-couldn't-help-myself. So-I-went-in-and-saw-the-files-and-Pau's-messages. So-then-I-knew-you-were-in-the-Red-Army, what-even-is-that-anyway? But-I-just-got-so-upset-that-you-guys-would-hide-that-from-me."
You quickly explained to them, tears starting to fall again. "I did my classes though." You laughed nervously. But what you surprised you was that Pat and Pau started to laugh too. They sat you down on the bed then sat down in front of you on the floor. "You sure are something aren't you (Y/N)?" Pau asked reaching out and taking your hand in his. "Well at-least you did your work." Pat said with a bright toothy grin, wiping away your tears. "But that's what we were meaning to tell you about, see the Red Army is..."
Pat's POV:
It has been awhile since we told (Y/N) about the Red Army and how we would be moving to the army base. They didn't ask many questions and had a straight face the entire time. They did ask if they would have to join. "Yes it's the only way the Red Leader will let us keep you there with us." Pau and I had told them, but right now they were in their room. They had asked for a few moments alone and me and Pau just couldn't say no to them, they looked too pitiful for us to make them come down to eat."I'm going to give (Y/N) their dinner." I told Pau before going up to their room. Knocking on the door I asked if I could come in for a little bit. "Yeah." They told me. "I reheated this for you and don't worry about bringing it down I'll come get it when your ready just call for me, okay?" I set their plate down in front of them and gave them a gentle peck on their forehead and left.
I went back to the living room and sat down next to Pau putting my head onto his shoulder. "How did it go?" he asked me running his fingers through my hair in a soothing manner. "Not to bad, they still looked like they were taking it in." I told him, suddenly getting worried I sat up. "What if they don't want to join and we have to leave them here?" I asked Pau, he only pulled me back down to him and laid my head on his chest. "Whatever happens happens, if (Y/N) doesn't want to join then we'll worry about it then. But so far they haven't said anything so we won't worry now."
I finally gave in to his words and settled back down. He was right after-all, we didn't know what they where going to say yet so I shouldn't worry now. I just hope that we don't have to leave them.
