Part 2: Past Still Lingers

Jungkook and I first met, two years back.
I got the highest marks in History, surpassing Jennie, who was not at all happy about the fact. She had pretty bad records in school for bullying and ragging students.
I was one of the victims too
She locked me in the washroom with her gang, and tried to hurt me in every possible way.

Jungkook was the one, who saved me from this, and Jennie was kicked out of the school.
That was the first and the last time we came up face to face.
I developed feelings for him slowly, for he was heroic and really kind.
But he changed a lot that year...

Our classes changed, and now here we are standing in front of each other again...

I think he has forgotten about that year; that day.....
I got to know it, this very year, that Hwasa and Jungkook were friends. I was really surprised....

'Seeing him around girls.... Really got me worried if he was in a relationship with anyone now....'

I laughed at myself. I  think that I might have a chance with him... I'm so foolish

Hwasa always got really surprised, whenever I asked her about Jungkook. Maybe she knows that I have a crush on him.....or maybe not
I really wanted to know more about him.

From what Hwasa had told me, I got to know that Jungkook had changed a lot since the day we met...... Or rather, I met him...

He had changed into a playboy, and had dated many girls.
Even girls who were elder than him.
He had dated Lee Ji-eun, the most famous girl of our school, who was 2 years elder to him.
They broke up after dating for a year....

Unlike me, belonging from a middle class family, Hwasa and Jungkook were really rich.
Jungkook was a spoiled kid

He had lots of family problems. His dad left his mom for another woman...
After that he had suffered from depression, but he got better for Medication... But he slowly started changing.

He lives alone for his school now.

Hwasa said he is single now

And I still think that I have a chance......
