Part 5: I Want To Look Pretty Too!

"yeah.... Why not??"

My intution was telling me that she was intending on doing something....
Then she spoke up

"1st September is Sunday, so I hope you don't mind coming at my place, 3 hours before going to the party??"

"N-No.."

"Perfect!!", she replied

I really could not read her mind or what she was up to....

In the blink of an eye, a day passed and it was 1st September already!
I was not able to sleep properly for how excited I was...

I did my daily chores, helped my grandmother out and did my homework for Monday.
I looked at the clock... It was 1 p.m. Already!

"You look restless dear! What has happened?", Granny asked

"Oh granny, I have a b'day party to attend today with Hwasa.. And she called me over to her place"

Granny looked quite surprised cause it was pretty unusual for me, to socialise or go to a so-called party..

"Woah honey! That's a great news!! You should surely go, don't worry about us!!", she said smiling

I ran upstairs to get my one and only short dress, which I had never wore..
I grabbed my backpack and headed to Hwasa's place.

I was as excited as a kid would be, before going to an amusement park!

Hwasa's House was castle-like and enormous. I was really nervous, but the nervousness somehow drained away when I saw Hwasa. She really makes me happy!

"Heyyy!", Hwasa gave me the warmest hug

She has been waiting for me in her garden, the whole time. She is definitely not like others!
She led me into the house, through the hallway. I greeted her mother who was sitting on one of the couch. Her mother looked quite intimidating until she smiled at me. We weren't able to exchange much words, as Hwasa pulled me to her room upstairs hastily.

"Okay, sit here and feel free to ask for anything you want!"

"Okay miss!", I said and chuckled

"So tell me, what are you going to wear??", Hwasa asked

I quickly pulled out the dress from my back pack and showed her
"Umm.. This!"

She looked dissatisfied..

"Don't tell me you are going to wear this dress from the 90s..", She said

Yeah, it had to be.. What else can you expect from a dress picked up by my granny...

"Okay I got this!!"
Hwasa opened her wardrobe and pulled out a sexy and sparkly dark maroon dress...

I was dumbfounded

"T-This dress?"

"Why not?? Its pretty, and you'll surely look good!"
"Now go get changed quickly!"

It's not like I didn't want to wear it. I loved it and was really excited because Hwasa was putting a lot of effort in making me look good.
The dress fit me perfectly. I had never worn such a body hugging and exposing dress before so I felt a bit uncomfortable, but didn't want to reveal it for the sake of Hwasa's happiness.

I came out of the changing room to see Hwasa fidgeting with my phone. I proceeded towards her.
She stuck the phone in front of my face,
"See it's your social media account I've created right now, now you have to post today and maintain it.."

She was being childish, but before I could protest, she hushed me
"Do whatever I say, in order to repay my kindness!", she said

I sighed, "Okayy!"

She made me sit in front of the mirror and applied makeup and did my hair and whatever it is...
I closed my eyes and patiently waited for her to finish

"Open your eyes!", Hwasa said

I opened my eyes, and it felt like I was sitting in front of a completely different person
It couldn't be me!!
I was struck with disbelief

I looked up at Hwasa, who was staring at me in awe to how different I looked

"You are going to rock it babe!", she said and hugged me.

She barged a pair of sparkly heels in front of me
"Don't nag and wear this, I need to get ready as well!"

I have never worn such high heels before. 'what if I fall down?', I thought to myself.
I didn't want to complain as Hwasa was doing a lot for me and even gave me her clothes and shoes to wear..
'Just one night!', I thought to myself
I sat there zoning out and making up scenarios of what could happen in the party, when I heard clicking noises of heels coming towards me. I looked back to see how hot Hwasa looked!!
I stared at her in awe..

"YOU LOOK GREAT!", I said pressurising each word because I meant it!
