My hands started to turn cold and numb..... I was nervous!

Hwasa and I, walked towards the bar counter, where Jungkook was sitting, to greet him.

"Happy Birthday Jungkook"
Hwasa and I wished at the same time
We exchanged glances and smiled as it was coincidental.

I was quite uncomfortable, because Jungkook had been slyly leering at me the whole time.

"Thank you! I'm glad you could make it to this party. Please Make yourselves comfortable!"
Jungkook said while showing us the empty seats beside him.

"Oh, I shall as well bring a glass of drink for the both of us! You sit first"
Hwasa said and walked towards the bar counter

With Great agitation, I sat down right beside Jungkook.

We sat there, without exchanging a single word.
It felt like the Chattering of people and loud music was being suppressed by our awkward silence.

Me, being an Introvert, was too shy to start a conversation.

I always wait for the opposite party to start conversations... Every introvert can relate to this.. But this really made me a loner and also made my life quite difficult.

And just like that, few minutes passed.
I started fidgeting and waited for Hwasa to come and break this awkwardness.

When I got no response for yet another minute, I gathered a lot of courage, to start a conversation.
I tucked my loose hair behind my ear, that was falling on my face blocking my side view; and glanced at Jungkook

He sat there, one leg over the other, holding his Glass of drink fancily, and Looking like he owned the pub
And he did own the whole darn mansion....

"Ummm-"

"So, how are you doing?" Jungkook spoke up right when I was about to start.

"Ah, Im fine", I looked over at him to answer

Our eyes met-
I panicked and looked away
Hwasa was taking forever...

The atmosphere started to get awkward again.

I gave up and waited for Hwasa, knowing that I'll never be able to open up without making the atmosphere awkward.

But Jungkook was considerably quite unbothered by the awkwardness created by me; As if he was used to these situations....

*Clunk*
Jungkook put his Glass down on the glass table in front of us and suddenly leaned over and held my hand.

I was taken aback by the sudden action
My heart started racing like crazy
