I Only Ever Imagined

Chapter 8 ~ Many Thoughts and Things

Madison's P.O.V.

The questions in my mind never went away. They were just to much. What was the dream about? Why did he look so sad? I knew that it was a nightmare. I knew that he wasn't going to tell me if I asked. I knew that he wanted to forget it, but I wanted to know. I wanted him to know that he can trust me.

I let go of the hug and looked him in the eye, "You do know I want to know what happened," He nodded, "But I want you to be ready, so when you want to tell me. Tell me. Don't be afraid."

He looked at me then quietly asked, "If I...when I leave...and if I asked you if you wanted to come...would you?" I sat there, shocked.

I knew that Hayes and the rest of the boys would have to leave soon, but for me to come with them. New questions formed in my head. Would Ally and Melanie come with me? When will I get to come home? But the one question that got to me the most was...Would I want to go?

I looked at Hayes, "Its something I always dreamed of doing." I said, honestly.

I saw how Hayes's eyes brightened to a super ice blue, almost white, color. "You would?" He said, hopefully.

"Of course." I said causing Hayes to hug me once more. I laughed a bit, but hugged back.

The rest of the time we talked and waited for the others to wake up. Hayes and I walked downstairs to the kitchen to find something to eat. I heard footsteps coming down the steps and soon Melanie, Matt and Nash were in the kitchen.

"Good Morning." I said grabbing orange juice.

"Morning Madison and...Hayes." Nash said, looking at Hayes oddly, "You never wake up early."

I looked at the clock on the oven, "Its 11." I laugh a bit.

"Still early." He replied.

"Anyway, we have to go get your bags from the hotel then what do you guys want to do?" Melanie asked. All of us shrugged, "Welp, it is getting closer to Christmas and I got to go find some things for people and yea."

"I wish we could stay for the holidays." I hear Hayes whisper.

"Wow, its already near Christmas. What happened to this year. It went by so quick." Matt said.

"Yea." I sighed.

I hear more footsteps coming down and then Aaron, Ally, Taylor, and Shawn appeared.

"Hey guys." Shawn said, cheerfully.

'hey's' and 'hi's' were heard and then silence until Taylor asked, "Okay, this question has been on my mind and I need to ask you guys it." He started, pointing at Ally and Melanie, who looked at each other, "Where are your parents?" He finished.

The others looked at them as well, except me who knew, wanting to know as well.

"Oh, they went on a trip to Las Vegas, but they're going to come back in about three days at the most." Melanie said.

"And your parents trust you at home, alone?" Nash asked.

"Oh, not at all, but we begged them to not call a babysitter." She replied.

"Oh."

"Yea. Anyway, I need someone to drive me to the mall so...." She trailed off.

"I'll drive you, I can probably find something too." Taylor said.

"Okay."

"Can I go?" Matt asked.

"Sure, but we should go now. Maybe after we could go eat after with everyone." Melanie said.
