"Ugh! Watch where you're going!" Y/N exclaimed. She glared at Jimin whilst rubbing her arm. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't see you coming.", Jimin almost mumbled while rubbing his temple. After exchanging some apologies and gratitudes they both parted their ways.
The professor began with the lecture and the day progressed quite well as compared to its inception. Both the individuals met some new people and tried getting along with them. And so their University life began. They decorated their lockers, joined different clubs, and were part of different groups.
Y/N was a very bright student. Her assignments were always over the top. She was much appreciated by her professors. Not just academics, she also signed up for paid internship in the University's library to meet her expenses. So, she was practically known by everybody. This fact pinched jimin alot, but not much that he would be triggered to do something about it until the day their result of the first semester came out. Y/N was amongst the top 5 of the University and Jimin bottom 5. Since they practically shared the same lecture rooms the entire day, Jimin knew he had to do make it up to his status and his father who threatened him. Jimin aced Basketball, looks, wealth, everything except academics. Hence, he decided to shift his brain towards studies and for a short time maybe forget what his initial aim was.
They officially became competitors in academics and extra-curriculars. A very dark start to this competition!
