"So, students I have written this equation on the board and I want someone to solve it." the professor addressed the students whilst pointing at the board and immediately two hands rose from seated students: Y/N and Jimin! The professor's eyebrows curved into a frown as he didn't expect Jimin. He, however, gave in and decided to call Jimin on the board to solve it and to his amazement Jimin did. He solved the equation correctly! It was unexpected! Widespread jaw drops could be seen and gasps heard. Jimin first faced the professor with a glee on his face and then Y/N who was still confused about it. Jimin winked at her and slowly went back to his seat.
The days progressed quite disturbingly. Shock upon shock. Jimin kept proving himself. The rivalry aggravated. There was no calming down. Both the individuals strived hard to be at the top. In addition to academic contest, they were often seen in University corridors quarreling. It is safe to say that they hated each other. Severe circumstances waited at their doors.
