Settling in

Avery and I slept in the same room the first night because my room wasn't ready yet and she didn't want to sleep by herself. Today we were going to some furniture stores to start the process of putting my room together. Avery and I were getting ready when Dove knocked on the door and then walked in.

"Hey, guys breakfast is ready." She said and we all walked downstairs and it smelled amazing. At the orphanage, we are used to cereal or oatmeal and on special occasions pancakes and bacon but this was better. There were pancakes and waffles, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and fruit.

"Is there someone important coming for breakfast," Avery said as her eyes lit up looking at the chocolate syrup. She's a chocoholic.

"No, I just like cooking," Thomas said handing us each a plate so we can pick what want. I grabbed 2 pancakes some eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns with orange juice.

"This gives him an excuse to make more food than he needs to," Dove said and we both just laughed. "SO Tambree what are you thinking for your room?" She asked and I took me a minute to think.

"Um, something simple like white and grey with a hint of baby pink?" I said hoping I wasn't asking for too much.

"We can definitely make that happen," Thomas said with a giant smile. We helped them clean up the kitchen after dinner then went to brush our teeth.

"Your clothes are looking a little too small on you guys," Dove said.

"WE have to split the donations we get and sometimes they don't fit the best," Avery said and Dove just smiled.

"So this means we get to go shopping." She yelled as we got into the car. First, we went to a bunch of different furniture stores until we finally found the one we wanted. Then I found a bunch of accessories and decorations for my room and most of it is getting delivered tomorrow.

It was still fairly earlier it was only 1:30 by the time we finished so we went to In and Out for some lunch. A few kids came by and asked Thomas and Dove for pictures and Avery and I were very confused.

"Why did they ask for pictures of you?" I asked and Dove looked surprised.

"Do you guys watch Disney?" Thomas asked and we shook our heads.

"We don't have cable," Avery said then they nodded.

"Well, we are on a Disney movie that a lot of people seem to like." She said.

"Can we watch them?" Avery asked excitedly and Dove just gave out a small laugh and nodded.

"Of course but first to the mall we gotta go shopping for some clothes," Dove said and Thomas let out a fake groan but then we went to the mall. We got a lot of stuff. Dove even got Avery and I phones.
