"I hate leaving daddy. I'm so lonely without daddy that my heart feels sad and sad and sad," - Vinnie
NEILSON ▪︎ POV
"Wake up darlin'," I pressed a kiss to Vinnie's cute little button nose and he let out a soft whine, twitching on the bed.
It was half seven, I was already up and dressed for work. Now I only had to get him into his clothes and fed ready for daycare. We needed to be out of this house by half eight so I could get to work by nine.
Vinnie was my baby. My precious little foxie companion. I found him when he was a teen, homeless and without anywhere to go. I couldn't leave him out on the streets in the middle of the winter and decided to take him in.
He'd been terrified, was this shivering, skittish little boy with these big tearful eyes and a trembling bottom lip. I fell for him the moment I caught sight of him on the side of the road, clutching his tail and looking lost.
I never knew how exactly he ended up there. Apparently his parent's owners kicked him out when he was old enough to survive, since they couldn't take care of three nekos at home. He said he fell asleep one night and woke up on the side of a highway. Abandoned.
It took him a long time to trust me but now, five years later, I have a confident, clingy baby boy who I love dearly. I wouldn't trade Vinnie for the world.
"Wake up Vin. Come on, daddy can't be late this morning," I stroked my fingers through his blazing hair, scratching behind his pointed ears.
Vinnie stretched out on the bed with a wide yawn. "No wakie daddy," he pouted.
"Yes wakie. Fine. Daddy will just have to eat Vinnie's pancakes then," I faked a loud sigh, moving to get off him.
Vinnie's big eyes snapped open and he shot up in an instant, throwing his arms around my neck. I caught him with a snort of laughter. Of course he'd move for pancakes. When did my baby ever say no to food? Never.
"I'm awake!" He cried.
I hugged him tightly, kissing his plump cheeks. I'd spoiled Vinnie a bit too much, but I loved to pamper him and take care of him. He was a chubby little thing before I adopted him, but he seemed to put on a little more weight after I took him in.
It was hard to say no to his cute little face and I ended up giving in to his pleas for unhealthy deserts a bit more than I probably should have. Now, I was being more firm with his healthier eating, just because of his health, not because I didn't love the shape of his body.
He was curvy, plump and just down right gorgeous. I loved the way he looked. I loved that he both looked adorably cute and sexy at the same time. He was dangerous. A double kill.
"Come on baby, time to get dressed," I kissed him, running my hands through his hair, shaking him softly as he slowly drifted off on my shoulder again.
Laying Vinnie down, I tugged off his pyjamas, baring his beautiful body. I untaped his diaper and cleaned his privates. The cold wipes made him squeak and shiver. He only needed diapers at night. I learned the hard way that Vinnie couldn't hold his bladder in his sleep. The first night he snuck into my bed, I woke up on top of a drenched mattress.
