"He's perfect. Everything about him from his red hair to his beautiful curves to the thick furs on his tail. My perfect baby boy," - Neilson
VINNIE ▪︎ POV
"Vinnie!"
"Vinnie where are you?!"
There had been people yelling my name all afternoon since I ran out. I stayed hidden, too embarrassed to come out and face them. Not while I looked like this. Not while they all laughed at me behind my back.
I whimpered, curling my tail around my torso to keep me warm. I realised that I couldn't stay here forever but I couldn't move. I was scared and I was hurt. I knew I was going to be in big trouble for this. But even the spanking I was sure to get seemed better than the humiliation of people staring at my fat tummy.
"Vinnie?!"
My ears perked up at the sound of the deep voice. Daddy. He was here.
My voice got caught in my throat and I wanted desperately to call out for him. Daddy.
"Vinnie?! Baby where are you!?"
"Maybe he went further down the street? We could try across the road."
My heart was pounding in my chest and I felt the sniffles start coming again as tears spilled from my eyes. "Daddy," I whispered his name, hiccuping against my knees, my hands tightening around my tail.
There were footsteps coming in my direction and I tensed in fear. Then I saw them, daddy's shiny black work shoes. He was right there. I couldn't hold back a sob anymore, crawling out from my hiding space toward him.
"Vinnie," he cried my name, scooping me up into his arms and clutching me close to him. I took in his familiar scent, sobbing into his shoulder. "Fuck, you scared me so bad! Don't you ever go running off like this again! I couldn't breathe!"
I couldn't say anything, clinging to him as he rocked me. I could feel his heart heat erratically in his chest. He... he was really worried?
"Sorry. Sorry daddy," I wailed.
"Shhh, what happened?" He asked, rubbing one hand over my body and holding me up under my bottom with the other.
"V-Vinnie is fat daddy. Vinnie is ugly."
"Who the fuck told you that?!"
I flinched. Daddy rarely cursed. Only when he hurt himself or at bad drivers on the road. The harsh words made me quiver.
"The other nekos were laughing at me. They said that I was fat, - that you must hate me because I take up healthcare. They said mean things daddy and its true," I choked on another sob, burying my face against his neck. "I wanna go home!"
"Oh, we're going home," daddy stormed right back around the front of the building with me in his arms.
There were sighs of relief as the workers of the daycare caught sight of me. I paid them no attention.
"Where are his things?" Daddy's voice was clipped. His tone was terrifying.
Someone handed him my bag. Daddy riffled through it to make sure all of my things were there before slinging it over his shoulder. "Did you know they were bullying my neko?" He growled.
