After investigating the murder of Lizzie Thomas, we found our culprit. It was the neighbor, Nick Hernandez, age 35, 6’4, dark skin, and speaks English. It was hard for them to break it to the mother because at the time she was very good friends with the neighbor and treated him like a brother since she had known him since middle school. When they went to his home and asked to look at the car, they found Lizzie's backpack stuck under the car and three bottles of beer in the backseat of the car. That’s when he was found guilty on trial for the murder of Lizzie Thomas. When she died at the age of eleven, on Tuesday, April 13th, 2010. Two days before her twelfth birthday.
