Chris stepped inside the apartment, locking the door behind him.
"I'm home!"
He called to his boyfriend, Jordan. When no response came, he assumed he was just sleeping. He had been really focused on school lately, so it made sense. Chris decided to just surprise him with dinner and started to cook.
An hour or so passes, dinner finished, and Chris decides to go wake him. He heads towards the bedroom, slowing when he smells iron.
"Jordan?"
He pushes open the door, freezing when he saw him.
Jordan was lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood.
