The Major's Darling

Chapter 18:

Brinley's POV:

I decided I was going to wear purple like the rest of the family, but I was picking out my dress. Alice pouted and I told her she gets to pick out everyone else's. She was okay after that.

I picked out this:

Alice came in to check on me and I was already ready to go and she gapes and says, "I definitely approve of this dress. P.S. you look hot."

I say, "That's the point. I never do anything halfway. I need to go see my man and if he's ready."

Alice nods and says, "I'm finishing everyone up."

I walk up to the room the boy's are getting ready in and knock. Edward opens the door and I raise my eyebrows and say, "You didn't zip, Eddie."

Emmett laughs and says, "How did you know that without looking down?"

I say, "Peripheral vision. I don't need to look down, since I'm short."

I walk in and see Jasper and his jaw drops and so do theirs. Jasper grabs me and twirls me around and then holds me and says, "You look stunning, Darlin'"

I smile and Emmett says, "Is Rosalie wearing something like that?"

I say, "I don't know. Alice picked out her dress. I picked out mine."

Emmett says, "How did you manage that?"

I say, "I did it just how I did my wedding. They're getting Bella ready as we speak and I wasn't going to be a part of that. She probably going to be mad on how hot I look now."

Edward nods and says, "Don't say anything about this."

Emmett says, "How do you knw you look hot?"

I say, "Considering Jasper's hands are on my ass and he is looking at my boobs and Alice says so too. I think I do."

Jasper kisses my neck and Emmett says, "Damn, you work fast Jazz."

I grab his hands and place them on my waist. I say, "Wait until they leave. Dad, has the kids tonight. He wanted to bond with them more before he gets changed."

Emmett whoops. I laugh and say, "You will make sure Rose's is on the floor by the end of the night too. I hope none of the girls pop out of my dress."

Emmett laughs and says, "Don't bend down then."

I shake my head and mess with Jasper's hair. I get all of the gel out of it and say, "It looks so much better now. I really don't like gel. It looks weird when it hardens up. Are you excited Edward?"

Edward sighs and says, "I'm nervous."

I say, "We were all nervous on our wedding days. I was wondering even though I knew the answer if Jazz would be at the end of that aisle or when would I wake up from this amazing dream, but everything works out in the end. And it is the best thing I could've wished for even though everyone was wondering if I was pregnant. But they don't know I was. It's a new chapter and it is definitely worth the risk. We never know what's around the corner, but if you jump for it while you can, it could be the best thing you'll ever do. But if you don't it could be the one thing you'll regret not doing the rest of your life."
