Hello everyone! Hope you all have been well. Recently, Vanilla Muse has contacted me asking if she could be the sole translator of XZX, as she now had time to do weekly updates. I was actually quite relieved to hear her say that, as I know I have not updated in a really really long time and felt super guilty about it. I was going to write this author's note along with chapter 5.3...but it seems that Vanilla Muse has already finished translating it and posted it on her site, which I'm glad about since I'm only half way through hahaha.  Seeing that she has already translated all the way to chapter 6, I'm happy that she just translated 5.3 since I wouldn't want to hold her back from posting, given my slow update schedule(she can only post the rest of the chapters after I've posted 5.3, if not the story would have a gap). Currently, she has posted up to Chapter 5.3 on her site and chapter 6.5 for her patreons (I will put the link in the comments). I have asked her and she has said that I can still post the chapters she has translated here, for those who still want to continue reading on wattpad:).

I think I've said before that I will not drop this book, and even if I do, I will make sure that another translator would pick it up would pick it up from the moment I drop it, so I'm glad that vanilla muse reached out to me so I can pass the translation to her. I would feel really bad if I keep translating this book at my turtle pace when there is another translator who could post chapters much faster, but can't translate this book because I already am.  Oh, and sorry for not replying to all your comments and pm...i was going to reply after I posted this A/N (I'm not ignoring you lol).

I recently passed by the exact location where I posted the first chapter, exactly a year after. Looking at that place really reminded me of all the support you guys have given me, which I am very touched by. I remember that was the first time I had like 50 notifications in the span of half an hour from all the likes and comments all of you gave. To be honest, I really wanted to update more quickly, my plan was even to have weekly updates... which worked until I hit the school term. There was just so many commitments that translating really took a backseat. I tried to update at least monthly but that also didn't work out as my year end exams came. I really felt the most guilty about promising a mass update when I first started posting...but never did until maybe 3 months later. I was really sorry to all the readers who were hopefully waiting for it.

Translating a book has also been my dream since I first started reading chinese novels, and I'm really glad to have been able to be on this journey with all of you. Even if I've lost some of my passion for translating due to the hectic bustle of life, this experience will definitely be one I hold dear. You guys are really the most supporting and interesting readers ever, and I've been touched on many occasions by your comments and support. I was so touched that there were still votes and comments popping up everyday even though I had posted in forever. Even if I've only translated half a book, I'm really thankful for this opportunity and I hope that maybe one day I'll start translating again.

P.S sorry for the long A/N, hope it didn't bore you
