Yoo Min Pov
Jung kook knocked on my door as I was packing my stuff. I asked him to enter while I was zipping my luggage. I smiled at the thought that I will go to my favorite place in Korea.
He walk in and scoffed “did you like Jeju that much?” he asked while leaning on the door as I nodded “yes I am! I love it so much” I said as he grinned and throw me a ticket “that your ticket” he said as I examined the ticket “thanks dad” I said teasing as he glare on me.
“Do you know what? My aged is perfect to be your boyfriend. Not your father” he said smirking as I roll my eyes “never” I said as stick my tongue out to annoy him more.
“She used to live there” Jung kook suddenly spoke up. I turn to him “Lisa?” I asked as he nodded “yes she is. Don’t you ever think that I am that sad okay? I am not since she dies after we broke up but it kind of sad since she died because of me” he said as I scoffed. I know your story, Jung kook.
“I don’t say anything yet” I said as he rolls his eyes “Just packed up. I don’t want to be late” he said and walks out. Jung kook and I were already like a friends a bit since he apologized that night when Hyun Jae being shot.
I put my luggage to the side and lay my head on pillow before flew to dreamland.
Next day
“Wake up” Jung kook shook my body as I slightly rubbed my eyes and yawned. I opened my eyes and saw Jung kook face so close to mine. My eyes went to his eyes as he does the same. I don’t know why but my heart beat suddenly beating so fast.
He lean back and hit my forehead before clearing his throat “go wash up” he said and walk out so fast as I gulps at the feelings. Did I?
I go wash up and went downstairs. I saw Jung kook was cooking and his back was facing me. My heart felt like want to burst in just a second. I take a deep breath before went to sit down at the dining table.
He turns and put down my plate with sandwich on it. He looks on me for a second before look away and went to his seat. We eat for silence and then, I decide to spoke up “are you going along?” I asked. He turns to me and nodded “of course. I already told you that I am going anywhere you go” he said as I frowned.
“But Jung kook, what about your other work?” I asked as he sighed “not a problem. My newest job is you so going Jeju is job too” he said and takes another bite of his sandwich as I look down.
“Jung kook, I am sorry” I said, still looking down as he turn to me with confused expression. “Why?” he asked before lift my chin with his finger “why did you say sorry?” he asked again. “Because of me, you need to add more work” I said as he smiles a bit.
“At first, I thought it your fault too” he said as I look up with frowned “but not anymore. I like my job as inspector and also teacher since I met many hot teachers” he said with smirk as I yanked his hand off my face.
“Go then” I said and stuff the entire sandwich in my mouth angrily. “Why? Are you jealous? I already told you that I can be your boyfriend but you keep deny it so?” he said with mocked as I roll my eyes “Hyun Jae better” I said as he scoffed “of course he is” he said and get up before throwing me his key car “hang it there” he said and pull out his phone before walk out.
I made an ugly face behind his back before getting up and do as I told. I grab my luggage and put it in Jung kook car’s bonnet. “Where is yours?!” I yelled “don’t mind mine. Did you done?” he yelled back as I nodded “Done!” I said before wear my shoes.
I enter the car and after a while, Jung kook gets in and started the engine. “Since you talking about hot teachers, I want to ask you something” I said as he just drove the car “who is the hottest?” I asked as he turn to me for a while and look front “why did you ask?” he asked as I grinned “I know that school better than you. Maybe I can help you” I said with sincere smile but my heart said otherwise.
“I don’t have any interest on teachers. They were all older than me. I want someone younger” he said as I chuckled “you want to control them too?” I said as he rolled his eyes “then, what about students?” I asked as he stopped the car because the traffic light was red.
“You” he muttered but I don’t hear it “what? Who?” I asked again as he shook his head “I am sincere teaching there. No time for eyeing students” he said and started back the car.
I called his name. “What again?” he asked annoyed “is it means I save? From Sehun? Since he never approach me” I said as he shrugged his shoulder “Yoo Min, I can’t told you that you save or not since Sehun still not getting caught” he said “but I will let you to work and live with your grandma after I am getting told that you save” he said again as I just nodded.
“If Sehun arrested, where are you going?” I asked as he think for a while “maybe Australia. All these cases were likes test for me before I went to abroad” he said as my heart felt aches. Is he going to leave Korea?
“Will you leave Korea then?” he looks on me before chuckled “yes I am. There is nothing for me here. I don’t have family here” he said as I just nodded on his words. He parked the car as we arrive at the location.
I get out from the car and grab my bags on bonnet before leaving to my friends, leaving Jung kook. My heart felt hurt. I am afraid that he leave me but I don’t know why. Didn’t I hate him?
Ji Young hugged me tightly “Yoo Min! You sit with me at the bus and also sleep with me under the same tent with Jeana” she said as I nodded, grinning. “Did you pack up everything last night?” Jeana asked as I nodded “of course. Did you bring your teddy?” I teased her as she hit my back while Ji Young laughing at the fact that Jeana still have teddy bear.
“Don’t laugh on me!” Jeana scold and chase after her as Ji Young ran as fast as she can save her life from Jeana. “They still were kids” I turn my head and saw Hyun Jae with bandage hand said as my eyes widen.
“You return back?!” I shouted happily as he shushed me “yes I am” he said and patted my head “I can’t stay there too long” he said as I chuckled “why? Afraid?” I asked as he shook head “no. I am missing someone” he said as my eyes widen with happiness but my smile disappears at the next words “missing you”.
He clear throat and smile “I am just joking” he said and point at something. I look up and saw Ji Young getting hit from Jeana. I laughed at the view that I was looking at now. All the talks with Hyun Jae quickly disappeared.
“Okay students! Gather up” Mrs. Kim said as we moved to a line. “At bus, there is 2 seats each so, I want you guys to partner up” she said and called each name. “The last one, Hyun Jae and.......Jeana” she said. I look on her confused “where is my name?” I mutter. Ji Young put her hands up “I am sorry, where is Yoo Min name?” she asked for my behalf.
