She get up from her seat and smile as she saw me walk in. “My daughter” she tried to get close to me but I stop her “stop where you are. I am sorry but do I know you?” she chuckled “did you think I was a fool? I know you know me ungrateful daughter” she smirked.
“You call me ungrateful daughter? What about you? The one who leave her own daughter for money?” I crossed my arms and try to hide the tears. She sighed “Yoo Min, I do-“I cut her off “Back OFF!!!! You told me that you will come back but what did you done? Did you come back home?! you leave me with grandma” I yelled.
“I will take you home now!” she shouted back “do you even know what I done? I have enough!! Follow me!!” she shouted back and grabs my wrist before dragging me. I yanked her hand off “don’t touch me!” I shouted. She clapped her hand and come in 2 muscular man walk in. they bowed on her “yes ma’am” she pointed on me “drag her to car” my tears falling like river that time.
Halmeoni rushed to me and hugged me “don’t take her away” she begged. The muscular man stopped from walking as they hear halmeoni pleaded. “Do your JOB!!! Take her away from my daughter” the muscular man started walking with hesitation.
One of them grab halmeoni hand and try to separate us as my heart broken when I saw one drop of tears come out from Halmeoni eyes. These past years I am staying with her, I never see Halmeoni shed tears like now. without I realized, 2 of them dragged to stand up with force.
Halmeoni stand up too and slap that woman. “How can YOU!!! You leave her with a broken promised and then, you expected you take her back! Stop whatever you done” Halmeoni force her but she doesn’t stop “just do your JOB!!” then, the door burst open, revealing Jung kook with Jimin.
“Put your hand in the air. Now!!!” Jung kook shouted. Her men stopped dragging me and stand up straight. Jimin rushed to Halmeoni that hurt her knees from falling as the muscular man pushed her. Jung kook looks on me and smiles before gesture something. Many police officers come in and dragged that woman away with her men.
Jung kook sighed. He tucked in his gun and walk to me. I can’t help but cry because I am scared. Scared that I have to get away from halmeoni. He hugged me and rubbed my back “it’s fine now..... don’t cry” I cried harder in his embracement. Thank you.....Jungkook-ah.
An banana milk suddenly appear in front of me. I look up and saw Jimin standing while holding out the banana milk. He smile on me “drink this and cheer up” he said before sit down next to me. he crossed his arm and pouted “I hear from Jeana that you going to drop out from school” I look down. I don’t know how to answer that.
“Why? Did you still afraid of Sehun come back? I assured you that you are going to be safe and sound. I check him last night and I still saw him there, talking with other criminal” he said. I don’t know why but I have feelings that he lied about something. I don’t want to accuse anyone so I decide to stay silence about it
Just then, Jung kook appeared. Jimin suddenly get up and walk past Jung kook immediately without even saying goodbye to each other. What happen to them? I look up and saw Jung kook still staring at Jimin’s back.
“Jung kook-ah” I called him. He turns to me and look on me with small smile “what wrong with Jimin? Is you and him fight?” I asked out of curiosity. Jung kook bit his lips “I don’t know. Yoo Min, about your mom; did you want to do report for being violence towards your grandma? I can fill the document now” Jung kook asked.
I looked down “I don’t know Jung kook. even though she was that bad, I can run from the fact that she was my blood-related mother” he sighed before sitting at the seat that Jimin sit earlier. “I know you are having mind debated. My mom always said that your heart always make a true decision. So, follow your heart. If you think you should put her in prison told me right away” he said while held my hand.
I look on our hands and look up back to Jung kook “anyways, Jung kook thank you so much. I don’t know how you know about that” he just smile “I have to go now. I still have to investigate about the case that you heard today” he told me and get up and was about to walk away but I stopped him “Jung kook, I heard that you are going to move next week. Is it true?” I asked.
He stay silences for a while before answering “it’s better that way” my heart aches. “Why? Wasn’t you fall in love with Korea?” I asked him, ignoring my heart aching so badly. He shook his head “no. I think Korea was the most painful place for me to stay” I wiped my tears off “how about me? What if he back and want to kill me?” I asked frustrated.
He chuckled, still not turning his back “he won’t. I want to get rid of any relations that we have as soon as possible” my mind went blank “what?” he turn to me and chuckled “Yoo Min, I have somethi-“I cut him off “I like you!!” I told him. His eyes widen “what?” he asked me back “Jung kook, I like you” I repeated.
“Yoo-““I like you since the time at forest that you save me even though you are ill that time. I know you do that because of your task but I can’t help it. I was a fool because I realized it went I heard that you are going to move” he not moving. He stare on my face with some expression that I can’t descried it.
“Yoo Min, forget about me” that was the only words that come out from his mouth. “W-what?” he smile “I appreciated your feelings for me but I don’t have a-any feelings towards you so, sorry” he bowed and walk away like nothing happen. My heart hurt......
