17. Our Unknown Feelings

Yoo Min Pov

I opened my eyes and found me under the big tree. I was cold and afraid that time. Then, the fact hit that I am still at the dark forest. Where was Kevin? Is he not coming back?

I close my eyes and tears can’t help but fall on my cheek as my hand were shaking out of cold. Is it better to died under the cold from died from the serial killer? Someone help me......

Then, I felt a hand come in contact with my head. I look up and saw Jung kook with sweating face. His hair was sticking on his skin while he points his torchlight on me. The light hit my face but I don’t care. I get up and ran to him with wet eyes. “You come......” I whispered.

He sighed and hit my head with the torchlight “did you want to die in this forest? Why did you not follow Kevin from the start?” he asked curious as my eyes snapped on him when he say Kevin name. He safely arrives?

I hugged him tightly ignoring how he made such a groaned and scoffed sounds. I was so happy that he saves me at least. “It was already too late now to back so let’s just find place to sleep before walking back to the base” he said as I just nodded.

I let go his waist and he went to my side and crouched down to pick up the branch and fire it with lighter that come from his pocket. “Did you smoke?” I asked as he turns to me “what? Me?” he asked again as I nodded “since you bring lighter anywhere you go” I said “of course I have too since I work with a total fool so I have to prepared everything” he said coldly without turning to me.

I scoffed “it just going to be this time. There is no any other times” I said as he roll his eyes “Can I trust what you just said?” he asked with a annoying expression.

We sit beside the fire pit. “Jung kook” I called his name as he just hummed “how did you and your ex girlfriend met? I was just curious since you said that you always busy with works so I am just curious how you can date” I said as he groaned.

“No need to know” he said and rubbed his hand. “Is it fun having someone we love?” I asked again as he turn to me “what? Why did you asked me?” he asked as I grinned “because you once experienced that things” I said as he nodded but not answering it.

I shut my mouth since I know he will never answered it. “Love is a pain that no one realized it. Love can be pleasured and also can be a worst pain that you ever been felt. Because of love, you will to do everything because of the person that you loved” he said without looking up.

I just shut up and hoping that he continued his words “love can make someone become psycho or even obsessed. It hurts once you fall in love. Love was meant to be pain” he said and yawned.

“I am going to sleep first” he said but I stopped him “how do you know you fall in love with someone??” I asked as he just chuckled “your heart will beating around him, you become comfortable with him and also you love just having his presence around you” he said before leaning on the big tree that I once lean on before.

Did I love him? Jung kook, why did you make me felt so different? Why did you always be the person that saves me from danger? Are you are the angel that my grandpa send for protecting me?

I woke up and found I was already in my shared bed with Jeana. I getting up and look around before rubbing my eyes. “Yoo Min!!!” Jeana shouted from bathroom. She went out and hugged me tightly “thank god that you woke up” she said with a happy tone.

“You know how worried me and Ji Young when you gone?” she scold as I just smiled and then, my eyes trailed to Jung kook and Hyun Jae bed’s. Where were they? Did Hyun Jae leave since I don’t saw him last night? “Jeana, where is Hyun Jae?” I asked with small smile as her smile dropped.

She just fake smile and handed me a letter “just read it” she said and walk out to give me some privacy since she know that I don’t like crying in front other people.

I held the letter and saw my name carved on the top of the letter with small heart in the end. My heart beat racing.

Dear Yoo Min,

I am sorry for leaving with saying last goodbye to you. I saw and heard what happened. I want to save you but I know Jung kook was the person that meant to save you. You might never know how many times I asked myself how much I love you, can I stop loving you, can I leave you...... but I know it will always answered with a no. Kang Yoo Min, since I was a kid, I was never want a new friend other than you because you was the coolest kid ever.

Actually I fall in love with you at the swing. That time, you told me how much you hate your mother and how much you love your grandmother. You look so beautiful under the sunlight. From that day, I wish I told you earlier that I love you so that we wont having a deep brother-sister love between us since I don’t want those. Yoo Min, just remember that you will always be my first and the best love. I don’t love Lisa at all. She was just a replace for my heart on you.

I will move to London today. It was because my mother got a job there. I won’t tell you my address since I want to move on. Once we met in the future, I hope we met with our love one and also lovely children’s.

Tears drop on the letter that he gives. The sweet memories between us were the only memory that will remain forever. Jung kook was right. Love can made a good relations turn into the worst relations.

The door was being knocked. I wiped off my tears and turn to door. “How you’re feelings?” I become calm after hearing his voice “I heard someone talk about you lost in forest. Did it scare?” he asked with chuckled as I just grinned to hide my tears but he seems to catch me.

“Something happened right?” he asked as I just looked down “Yoo Min-ah, I don’t know what happened but I am sure times will bring your pain away” Jimin said as I just nodded. “Where is Jung kook?” I asked.

“He was downstairs. He has to do his task as usual” he said as I shrugged it off. “He seems pretty worried about you last night” he said with smirk as I roll my eyes “he worried that he lost his job. That all” I said as Jimin shook his head.

“Do you never know that Jung kook will never get fired? He have so many connections in that station and also he have certification that made he have power in that station” he said as my jaw dropped “are he was that great?” Jimin nodded with saying anything else.

“So, he likes you” he said out of blue as my eyes widen at his remark “Don’t say something that can made you getting sued by me” I said as he laughed “he likes you for sure” he said again.

“No he was not!” I said as Jimin doesn’t seem to care about what I said “he was a fool for love and he also might not know that he actually love you” he said again with his proud grin. 

I roll my eyes “seriously Park Jimin, I will make sure your head was cut off from your body if you said that things again” I warned making he shut up but giggled slightly. “What a feisty woman you are” he said and ran out from the room, making me laughed on his little attitude.

I get up from the bed and went outside for a while. I saw some students were just playing their usual games since they bored and some of them were doing their own job such as do homework, eating, sleeping and also flirting.

I heard someone clear throat next to me and its sound felt so familiar. Sweat start forming on my forehead. I clear my throat too “what?” I asked, act tough. He chuckled next to me “did it scary in the dark forest?” he asked as I just keep silent, and silently praying that Jung kook nearby.

“I was used in the dark place. I am used to so I won’t felt scared of it” he said as I scoffed “of course. They were the one that should scare of you” that words slip out of my mouth. I zip my mouth after that as heard Sehun scoffed too.

“Do you want to know something?” he asked. “It kind of weird, that I don’t kill anyone. I always felt wanted to kill someone ruthlessly but why I am not killing my target?” he asked himself as I move away a bit.

“Kang Yoo Min, didn’t you felt tired?” he asked again. And this time, he have a smirk on his face. “Didn’t you felt curious? Why am I being target?” he asked again as I nodded, scared. “Then, come to ****basement. I will tell you the reason there” he said and walk away as I clenched my chest as I felt my heart almost dropping.

What did he told me earlier? He wants to meet? Without any other person? Should I go or not? Do I have to tell Jung kook? or should I just go since I am curious and desperate want to know the reasons. I miss my grandma and want to stay by her side these days. I don’t want to keep with Jung kook all the time. I don’t to be a scaredy cat that always wants some help. I don’t want it anymore.

“What did he told you?” I heard Jung kook voice from behind. I turn to him “did you hear it?” I asked as he shook his head “but I am sure it dangerous. It can be that Sehun come over just for a ‘hi’, right?” he look on me with the most serious face as my hand started trembling from his stare. I can’t get caught lying on him this time. I have to met him as soon as possible. Grandma needs me the most.

He sighed after saw that I keep silent the whole time he ask “Kang Yoo Min, I don’t know what you are thinking about but don’t do stupid stuff. Tell me first before you done something. It might bring danger on you if you keep this arrogant attitude of yours” he said before he went back to met Mr. Bong.

Author Pov

Little bit that Yoo Min don’t know, Sehun was actually planning something worst than her imagine. But fortunately, someone heard their conversation.

Yoo Min went to Ji Young and Jeana to talk about how she can lose in the jungle. Jeana gasps as she heard the truth from Yoo Min mouth as Ji Young sighed “Yoo Min, you don’t know her girlfriend? She like popularity and now since you close to the hottest teacher, your popularity ranked the first so she might jealous over it and asked a help from Kevin since he loves her so much from what I heard” she asked and rubbed her forehead.

“We have to kill her and her little pabo boyfriend right now!” Jeana said with gritting teeth as Ji Young calm her down “you can’t kill him and that Wendy too” she said as Jeana roll her eyes “why can’t I? He does such a cruel thing to our baby” Jeana said as Ji Young laughed on her tone.

“Stop it old woman! We can do other things” Jimin said as Yoo Min and Ji Young laughed on it while Jeana was glaring on him. “Let’s do some prank on her instead” he suggest as they attention advert to him. “What kind?” they asked unison as Jimin smile proudly.
