I Will Protect You

Blood tickled on Giyuu's leg as the pain starts to mingle on him. He regulated his breathing in order to lessen the bleeding from the pierced wound. The moment that the remnants of the cloth left his wound the bleeding worsened as his bones are definitely fractured and his muscle ripped. A normal person would die within 5 minutes from a mortal wound but his breathing technique allowed him to slow down the bleeding exponentially but this will only prolong the inevitable if remained untreated.

Yuki attempted to cover the wound with her hand as a form of pressure. She felt his grip on her tightly and managed to stand and point his sword to the man carrying Daki.

The demon man's leg that was slashed before regenerated now. Yuki's mind panicked as Giyuu pushed her away from him beckoning that he can still fight but she knew...she knew that he is at his limit.

"Master may have told to not harm you little girl but now that you have hurted my sister I will take pleasure on slicing some of your skin and eat it to my satisfaction
.While I will kill the water hashira in the most painful manner possible to satiate me" The man growled revealing his connection to Daki.

His eyes glowed red and green showing the mark of "six" similar as Daki making Yuki and Giyuu confused that there are two uppermoons present in Muzan's heirarchy.

The air for Giyuu feels heavy and his breathing strained but he vowed that in his remaining breaths that he shall eliminate the demon before him and assure Yuki's safety.

His mind betrayed him as he wished that this is not the place where death shall grip him.

He wanted to spend more time with Yuki.

He wanted to see her smile more.

He wanted to live more.

He wanted a family of his own.

But this cruel world shall not give his selfish wishes of future still he prayed that he will leave it knowing she is safe.

Worry came to his chest knowing that her safety will be shortlived after his death as the rest of the uppermoons are still there.

"Yuki....run" his face showing no emotion but his voice gave way of his worry and weakness. This is the only option to secure her safety at the moment. Yuki's eyes showed a brink of tears and her heart heavy. She will never leave her beloved on his death. Let it be that she shall die alongside him but she knew that she will be spared because of Muzan's orders.

Her mind tells her to follow Giyuu but her heart screamed as she held his right arm tightly supporting him.

"I refuse my love" her tears fell as she heigtened her senses to any blow and focusing her strength to assist him.

"Yuki! Listen to me!this is no time for sentiments GO NOW" he screamed making it rang to her like a fading echo.

She responded him in silence while focusing her sight in the man holding Daki. Her mind firm.

"Hear me"

Yuki's mind called.

"Hear me"

As if time stopped in front of her everything is not moving an entity came in front of her looking the same as herself.

It is her demon side summoned answering her call.

"I thought that you need me kept at bay, my beautiful one? " she seductively extended her arms towards Yuki.

She removed her grip from Giyuu as it appears that time stopped for this moment.

"Grant me your power and I give you myself as payment" Yuki eyes glowed in determination. She will not allow her beloved to die. She need the demon's power to gave her the prowess to heal his wounds and fight the uppermoon demon.
