Monster Energy Tour (Cat)

(Switching the names of people just because…)

Can I start off by saying that this was a really fun show and I’m very lucky to have gone? All the performances were amazing (especially cte’s) and I didn’t really take any videos because I was too busy jumping and screaming along to the music.

Ok so I have nothing against the people we met, they were all very nice but they just kinda got on my nerves.

My friend, let’s call her Shay, came with me to the House of Blues to see Attila, Crown the Empire, Like moths to flames, and sworn in. When we got to the line Shay, my sister and I were all under an umbrella (because it was raining) and this girl came alone and I invited her to come under, just because I felt bad. So we started talking to her and we all decided to go to the Starbucks across the street to get something warm to drink. They already made me feel uncomfortable. (Shay and the girl whose name I don’t remember so we’ll call her Mara (because she looked like one)) They’d make me walk in the back or push my sister to the back (which I didn’t appreciate at all) and my sister told me she didn’t really like the girl. (She was nice and cool but idk she had a negative vibe) So when we came back my Shay, (who came with me) ignored me the whole time and just hung out with Mara. They ran around the line and talked to guys while my sister and I stood there without an umbrella because they had both. Pretty bitchy thing to do when I was the one who made sure she got a ticket, right?

Ok so they came back when the line started moving up. Basically the rest of the time during the show I was trying to get her to come up with me and my sister to jump and sing along the music but she stayed back with the other group and had some guy all over her (take note that shay and I were 15 and everyone else was like 17 or 18) the whole time. While I did that, Mara would laugh and whisper to Shay looking at my sister, and that made her very uncomfortable. Also I didn’t really talk to anyone because I’m not good with socializing. I mean I could be around a lot of people but when it comes to talking and having their attention on me, I can’t do that so I didn’t talk to anyone. Plus nobody even bothered talking to me. But I’m used to it.

Now this is the part of the story where you’re going to see why I was really mad. (I still am.)

Mara told us that cte were going to do a signing at the merch tent during Attila’s set. So because my sister and I were really big fans we bought some merch for them to sign and we waited.

And waited

And waited…

But they never showed up.

Now at this point we were having some chats with some people that were there while we waited for Crown the Empire. Soon we realized they weren’t coming.

So while we had a pretty good view of the stage, I texted my friend “We are next to the merch tent bc we found a good view” and she responded “No I got a signature” which I didn’t know who she was talking about but I was just focused on waiting for cte to come.

So I at the end she told me to meet her by the bathroom so I waited with my sister.

She came running up to me and just started walking expecting us to follow while we were talking to someone. We were talking to the guitarist from Redeem/ Revive, whose name is Kriss. She pulled us away, and was just being really annoying. I hated how she was acting so I just pushed her away. When we got out she started talking about how she met crown the empire and hugged Benn and she showed me a signed poster she got. At this point I was really mad. She didn’t even bother to tell me that they we’re signing somewhere else; and her excuse was “my phone died.” If her phone did die, than why did she tell me that she got something signed and texted me at the end of the show where to meet?

Anyways. Crown the Empire was so good live and Brandon smiled and waved at me so it’s all good I guess.

We didn’t get to talk to them but hopefully next time they come around.

Also a small rant:

Who cares what age you are to be at a concert? My sister was screaming the lyrics along and moshing and she’s only 13.

Sorry if this barely made sense but i'm really annoyed that my friend basically tricked me and ditched my sister and I.
