Calvin was enjoying preschool, not really having any friends but enjoying to sit in the corner and read her books. I was used to pulling up to her school, and seeing her standing there alone. Alone, but happy I should say. Chris has been hustling, taking care of Jadylen and CJ, but also Calvin as well. I admire his commitment to both families, even though he kinda did this to himself.
Moving on, I had just finished dropping off Calvin at home, letting her inside. Chris was chilling on the couch, watching the TV while doing a crossword puzzle. "Daddy..." Calvin mumbled, before running to Chris. Chris smiled down at her, hugging her tightly to his body. Ever since his hair has grown out, he has looked so much more younger. Calvin loved his hair too, and I would catch her running her fingers through it was Chris wasn't paying attention.
"Hey honey." I said, leaning down and kissing him on the cheek. "Did you do any shooting for Bull today?" He shook his head, as he set Cal back down on the ground. "Nah, ever since this Corona has taken over, they've pretty much shut us down until it's all clear for us to start rolling again." I nodded, and sat down next to him. Cal looked up at me, and I motioned for her to go upstairs. "Why don't you drop your stuff off, and then you can help mommy make dinner." Cal squealed happily, and ran upstairs. I smiled, and looked over at Chris, who was strangely staring at me. I squinted my eyebrows, "Chris, what's wrong? Why are you staring at me?"
He chuckled as he slowly caressed my cheek. "Nothing, I just like looking at you." I giggled, and leaned into his hand. "God, I love you." He whispered, his thumb brushing over my cheek. I cupped my hand over his, "I love you too."
Just then I remembered Cal, and called up the stairs, "Calvin, hurry up or I'll start dinner without you." I expected a response, but all I heard was dead silence. That immediately caused my suspicions. Even Chris looked up, worry filling his eyes. "CALVIN!" He shouted, but we still didn't get a answer. We stared at each other for a quick second, before both bolting up the stairs.
I made it to her room first, and covered my mouth. Calvin's stuff was next to her bed, nice and neat. Her closet door was open, the clothes pushed to both sides down the middle. Her window was wide open, open enough where you could see the almost the whole forest behind our house.

But Calvin, was no where to be found.
