Chapter 4

“Alrighty, how far can a kid run?”

“Far enough, my lord.”

“Yeah, I can see that. I mean golly, she could be anywhere at this point!”

That’s when he hears a soft giggle.

“Oh, I see. Ya want to play hide-and-seek, huh? Well then, come out come out wherever ya are!”

Sammy just stared at him for a good minute.

“Seriously?”

“What? You have a better way?”

Sammy sighs and crosses his arms.

“I guess not, my lord.”

Bendy walks behind a wall and finds the little girl hiding in an old chest.

“Found ya! That was a good hiding spot, though. I would’ve taken ages to find ya! But, don’t go too far okay? You can get lost in this place.”

His tone went from a playful child to a concerned parent. The child then booped where his nose would be.

“It’s okay mister Bendy. I knew you would find me! Don’t be sad, please?”

A gentle smiled grew on his face.

“Alright I won’t be sad. Come here, I bet somebody’s tired after running so much!”

The tired little girl raised her arms and Bendy picked her up. The only thing that Sammy could do was stare at his suddenly childish lord.

“Mister Bendy?”

“Yeah?”

“I’m hungry.”

“Hmm. Do ya like bacon soup?”

“Do I? I love it!”

“Then it’s settled. Let’s go get you some bacon soup.”

“Yay! Mister Bendy is the best!”

Meanwhile, on the other side of the studio…

“You look pretty tired Henry.”

“Tired of living after dying. No offense, but why do you get to live just fine in this hell hole?”

Boris just shrugs.
“Me and Bendy are a little distant, but we’re still brothers.”

I remembered what he told me earlier.

“You did tell me before that you know that he won’t do anything to you. How the fuck are you so sure he’s not going to kill you?”

Boris smiles.

“Because. Bendy isn’t going to do shit to me. He can hate me to death, but he isn’t going to do anything.”

I sat there like an idiot.

“Then why does he only want to kill me?”
