THis story is practically a rewritten version of Eragon with aspects of Avatar the last Airbender .

I do not own either of these.

Except for My OC and other stuff

Where to start????

How about from the very beginning of Eragon's time

In the land of Alagaesia, there were four main races: Men, Elves, Dwarves and Benders.

Men are human in every way, just like you and me. Elves are the wisest of all races, they can live extraordinarily long lives and they have great strength and speed, they possess magical abilities and are able to cast spells. Elves are creatures of nature, they sing to trees to keep them happy and to create things out of them, they are vegetarian and strive to protect nature. Elves live in the DuWeldenvarden forest, to the north of Alagaesia and are ruled by the Elf Drottning, Queen Islanzadi. The Dwarves are stout but incredibly strong; they live in the Beor Mountains, and are ruled by their king they specialize in mining for gold and many precious jewels and forging. Benders are a little more than human. They possess the ability to manipulate the four natural elements: Water, Earth, Fire and Air. Benders live in a deep underground world of their own called DrasUndir, meaning under the city, their world stretches underground all through the Hadarac desert, in the very heart of Alagaesia. They are ruled by the five kings, four of the kings possess the ability to manipulate one of the Elements, while the fifth king is a non-Bender, humans of Bender blood, but cannot manipulate the Elements. The five kings work together making the Benders stronger and more powerful than any other race but are unknown to many. All Benders have a normal human life span, only the Avatar, master of all four Elements, can live for hundreds of years, but once an Avatar dies he or she is reincarnated into the next element in the Avatar Cycle: Air, Water, Earth and Fire. The four nations live together in harmony which the Avatar maintains.

The Dragon Riders, however, are the peacekeepers among the races. They can be either Man or Elf, but the other races were not included when the dragons, Elves and Man made their pact, to create peace. Dragon Riders, once first touched by their own dragon, instantly have eternal life. Once touched, they receive a silver glow on their palm, called the Gedwëy ignasia, in which Riders use to direct their energy through to cast spells.

The peace in Alagaesia lasted for thousands of years. But when Galbatorix, a human Rider became king, he killed off all of the Riders and their dragons, as he killed more and more, he gained their knowledge and their strength. Galbatorix also gathered thirteen powerful Riders to follow him, they were called the Forsworn. They were all corrupted, they had sworn oaths to Galbatorix, and were under his control, they turned against their own kind and aided Galbatorix in killing off all the Riders and their Dragons. Most of them went mad, all but one, Morzan, the right-hand man of Galbatorix.

When Galbatorix realised that the Benders numbers were growing larger by the day and were getting stronger than he and his Forsworn ever was, he decided to harness the strength of the dragons that he had killed, to destroy the Benders once and for all.
