Chapter 4

Kirishima and Todoroki had hung out for the entire summer and talked about how school would go. They got super close and Todoroki began helping Kirishima with his business, he began coming over to Kirishima's house leaving his phone at home and lying to his dad, when he did he got to meet Kirishima's moms but Kirishima had forgotten to tell his moms Todoroki was coming over

"Eijiro 텔레비전을 끌 수 있습니까?"(Eijiro can you turn off the Television) Kirishima's mom called to him from the kitchen when he opened the door for Todoroki and they began chatting, his mom clearly couldn't tell since she just heard voices and Kirishima had one friend. 

"엄마는 내 친구이고 나에게는 텔레비전이 아니라," (Mom its my friend and me its not the Television)Kirishima shouted back into the kitchen Todoroki was super confused since he knew no Korean what so ever. Kirishima turned back to him after the two yelled back and fourth a couple of time. "Sorry about that Shoto!" 

"No its fine, what did you want to do anyway?" Todoroki and Kirishima began playing games while chatting, really it was just Kirishima teaching Todoroki who never has even touched a game controller before. Todoroki got pretty good at the games Kirishima showed him but the ended up playing games that were against each other and Kirishima won every single time.

"I win again!" Kirishima cheered and laughed, he turned towards Todoroki just to see him flopped over. Todoroki groaned and sat back up to look at Kirishima.

"how are you so good at this?" Kirishima laughed

"Bro this is literally the first time you've ever played video games and I own them, guess who plays more." Kirishima was always trying to cheer the pessimistic and negative Todoroki up and most of the time it worked really easly. "Do you want to do something else?" Kirishima and Todoroki both liked playing the game but they also had been playing for over and hour.

"Do you want to go out somewhere, like we could watch a movie or go to the park or whatever,"

"lets go to the movie! I haven't been in ages hold on a sec," before Todoroki could ask or say anything Kirishima ran off, Todoroki assumed he had to go talk to his mom. He was able to hear faint voices and he recognized one as Kirishima and one as the voice who talked when he first got here he assumed it was one of Kirishima's moms. Todoroki sat there for a bot thinking, if Kirishima hadn't told him about his past he would think that he's got everything, perfect family, happy life, pretty face. Todoroki quickly realized what he was thinking and began blushing thinking about Kirishima.

"My mom said its fine with her! Are you ready right now?" Kirishima came back into the room and Todoroki quickly hid his blush and they began chatting and got ready to leave, they made it to the movies and Todoroki picked a horror movie since Kirishima left it up to him, little did he know Kirishima hates horror movies.

they got all their snacks and unknown to Todoroki Kirishima was quietly panicking while the preview were going, (I decided they are watching Tag/Riaru onigokko a Japanese horror movie from 2015 its great, absolutely terrifying but great also some subtle spoilers) Kirishima was ready to hide but he wanted to impress Todoroki and make himself feel more manly, it failed aggressively. The movie opened almost straight away with death and blood and proceeded into physiological torment of the protagonist and Kirishima could barley keep his eyes open. Todoroki noticed and pushed the arm rest up pulling Kirishima to him. He immanently hid into Todoroki's chest just barely listening.

Kirishima loved the movie he was just incredibly terrified, Mitsuko was Kirishima's favorite as well as Sur even though she was barely on screen. he wasn't quite sure what the movie was trying to say at certain points but it was really good. 

"Hey Shoto?" Kirishima was still clutching onto Todoroki as they left the theater,

"whats up?" Todoroki said looking toward Kirishima.

"do you believe in different realities like in the movie?" they kept walking but Todoroki didn't know how to answer it, 

"I don't really know, what about you?" Todoroki turned the attention back to Kirishima and evaded the question.

"Yeah, I have this idea where from the moment your born every decision you and other people make makes the reality split into another one, like for example when I decided to make a business there were other options, there might be a reality where I didn't make foundation at all there might be one where I made foundation but didn't sell it or one where I just used a store bought one, then we wouldn't know each other and I would be more lonely and you would be at home all the time, which could lead to another fate, I could have met someone else instead of you or maybe when you were young your parents could have sent you to the same school as me then we would have met sooner,or-" he kept rambling the entire way back to his house and Todoroki just smiled and listened to him,

"Shoto you know anything could be happening right now in another reality, see there could be one where we are actually in the middle of the apocalypse or we could all be superheros or we were alive in the medieval times, no one really know what is happening in another reality its amazing to think there is an infinite variety of us in an infinite variety of realities and sometimes I wonder weather I was the original of my part in the realities." Kirishima kept talking as Todoroki tuned in and out throughout the conversation. 

"Sorry Shoto I talk to much sometimes," Kirishima had cut off his last sentence 

"No its fine I liked listening to you, I never really thought of that stuff before, where'd you learn all that anyways," Todoroki really just wanted to continue the conversation even though they were back at Kirishima's house.

"Oh well I had my first existential crisis at like 5 so I started thinking of all sorts of weird stuff," 

"That's kinda sad but you sound really smart so I think that's cool," Todoroki smiled at Kirishima, he blushed at the compliment,

"Thanks Shoto," the went over to the couch and hung out for another hour chatting and they made food, Kirishima burned everything and himself as soon as they began cooking, Todoroki made him sit out as he cooked so he wouldn't get hurt again.

"Eijiro how in the hell did you burn yourself so fast?" Todoroki was worried after Kirishima didn't react to the burn until his hand was red, even then he just looked down and back up just to ask what he should do,

"I don't really know can I help though? It doesn't even hurt," Kirishima hated Todoroki doing all the work,

"Absolutely not you just burned yourself why would I let you do it again?"

"You're no fun it didn't even hurt that bad plus I have a high pain tolerance,"

"Still no, sit down and we can talk while I cook" they had a mess of a conversation and they talked more about the movie from earlier in the day Kirishima kept calling everything manly which Todoroki found rather funny.

Todoroki finished cooking without any accidents and they ate the katsudon Todoroki made and talked more eventually Todoroki had to leave and Kirishima went back to the couch and saw his moms,

"Did you have fun kiddo?" Kirishima's mom smiled as she turned to talk to him

"Yeah Shoto is so manly I can't wait to hang out again!"

"I'm glad you made a friend Eijiro," Kirishima's Mama (other mom to clarify) said to him turning down the TV,

"Me too I haven't had anyone like him before, and we are going to be in the same class when school starts! Like how cool is that!"

"That's wonderful Eijiro, but you call him Shoto?" his Mom knew his full name and then noticed Kirishima and Todoroki calling each other by their first names,

"Oh yeah he said I could when we first met," Kirishima's moms smiled and they talked a bit more about nothing in particular until Kirishima decided to go to bed.
