Chapter 13

Kirishima woke and got ready for school, he had to change his bandages and put his contact in and did his hair, Kirishima put on his uniform and looked in the mirror, he smiled he looked completely different from middle school and now he was going to the school of his dreams,

"Eijiro!"

"Coming," Kirishima sprinted down the stairs seeing his mom still home, he grabbed an apple and headed out for school,

"I love you," his mom shouted from the kitchen as he left,

"Love you too bye mom," Kirishima ran to school with a skip in his step, he wanted to be a little early so he had time to hang out with Midoriya or Todoroki. with no time at all Kirishima was at school and in his classroom, once he sat down he started eating his apple while reading a book he brought from home,

"Kirishima?" at the sound of his name Kirishima looked up, his red eyes meeting black ones, "I didn't know you were going here too," Sero walked over to Kirishima flashing his wacky smile,

"Hey Sero," Kirishima flashed his smile right back, the two hung out being some of the earliest to class, soon a boy with blond hair came stomping in, Kirishima watched him take his seat feeling like he should know him but he couldn't figure out who he was.

"Kirishima!," Kirishima jumped and turned around to see who called his name and saw Midoriya, " Kirishima hows your arm," he looked teary eyed at the bandages,

"Midoriya I'm fine I told you that yesterday you don't have to worry," Sero looked at Midoriya then at Kirishima's arm,

"What happened?"  Sero didn't look scared only confused, 

"ha,ha, I just burned myself its not to bad," the three were chatting when someone else came in, 

"Sero! we made it!" Kirishima and Midoriya turned around and saw Kaminari and Mina running into the room,

"Hey bro! Look who's here," Sero pointed toward Kirishima flashing a knowing grin,

"Kirishima?"

"Hey dude!" he waved and the two made their way over sitting on desks, 

"I don't think we've met," Mina leaned over putting a hand out to Midoriya, "I'm Mina, that's Kaminari, and it looks like you know Sero," she waved in each persons direction while introducing them,

"Oh I'm Midoriya, I'm Kirishima's friend," he shook Mina's hand,

"Neat, we are too," Kaminari smiled, "Do you guys know anyone else in our class? I only know you guys,"

"Well one of my other friends is in our class," Kirishima was trying to think of who else might be, "But that's all I got,"

"Neat whats his name?" Sero asked him

"Shoto Todoroki," 

"Yes?" Kirishima jumped when some one put their hand on his shoulder, "Sorry Eijiro," Kirishima turned around and saw Todoroki, 

"Shoto," Kirishima sighed, "speak of the devil, uh Shoto this is Sero, Mina and you met Kaminari," 

"Nice to meet ya," Mina waved, and started talking, " Do you guys think there are cute girls in our class, I'm the only girl here right now and I want to meet pretty ladies," Kaminari snorted,

"You're so gay," Sero laughed,

"I mean you two are as well so like fuck off," Mina laughed again,

"yeah but I'm Bi so that's different," Kaminari smirked, 

"Yeah and I'm pan, so you're the gayest," they laughed,

"Mood," Kirishima laughed too,

"Wait you're gay too?!" Mina jumped at the thought of having an exclusively gay friend group,

"Yeah very gay," Mina smirked when Kirishima said that,

"I bet I'm gayer," Kirishima laughed,

"What?" 

"You heard me, in middle school I went a whole year thinking me and this girls were just friends until she kissed me, not complaining though she was hot," everyone was dying, Sero and Kaminari hadn't even heard that story before,

"Well I've never dated anyone but I do have two moms," Kirishima smiled at the few surprised faces,

"that's great but I thought gay people can't adopt?"

"oh not here, different country," 

"well that is pretty wild, gay parents raise mentally well gay kids," Sero said smiling, the others burst into laughter,

Kirishima knew Todoroki didn't want to talk to people and handed him the book he brought, Todoroki took it smiling and went farther away to read. the group was laughing and and chatting until others came into class and there teacher came in to start class. Class ended later on and Kirishima was packing up when Todoroki went over,

"Eijiro," Kirishima jumped again, Todoroki had noticed how on edge he was, "How's your eye," Kirishima smiled,

"I'm fine," Todoroki looked at his arm, "what?" Kirishima had kinda forgotten about his arm,

"What happened Eijiro," Kirishima looked at his arm and sighed,

"oh, its fine Shoto, I barely got hurt," Todoroki sighed and looked at him again,

"You trust me right?" Kirishima was confused and just nodded, "Why do you jump whenever someone yells your name or touches you?" Kirishima looked shocked at the question,

"I-uh, I don't?" Kirishima wasn't great at lying on the spot, Todoroki looked at him knowing it was bs,

"was that a question?" Kirishima sighed again,

"Look I hadn't noticed I guess its just a reaction," Todoroki looked sad he pulled Kirishima into a hug,

"I'm sorry Kirishima," Kirishima had shed a few tears when he did, "you've got to talk to me though alright, I know you don't tell other people but I already know and you know that you can trust me," Kirishima nodded,

"He had never taken things that far while bullying me," Kirishima finally confessed his struggling mind, "I never got hurt like that," Todoroki just pat his head still holding him,

"He won't hurt you again," Kirishima nodded quietly in Todoroki's arms, Todoroki pulled away, "You know I'm not good with feelings but you have a lot of people who care about you, Me, Midoriya, Kaminari, Sero, and Mina, No one will hurt you with all of us around."

"I'm sorry Shoto," Kirishima wiped his eyes and picked up his bag, "but thank you,"

"Of course Eijiro," they left the classroom Todoroki still holding onto Kirishima's shoulder, " Are you ever going to tell Midoriya, you've known him around as long as"

"Maybe one day but I don't know, I feel like you and me just have a different relationship, ya know it's easier to talk to you about this stuff," Todoroki smiled,

"Then you can always talk to me," He smiled back,

"And the same to you," they had walked a bit in a comfortable silence, "Thanks for being here for me Shoto, really." 

"I never planed on anything else,"
