Chapter 15

Todoroki POV:

After what happened with Kirishima I planned to never leave his side, me and Midoriya talked after school while waiting for him, we both agreed to make sure Bakugou wouldn't hurt him. Kirishima has been through a lot since I met him, Midoriya told me about the day he burned himself while cooking with him, it was not good, I should know I told him not to touch anything hot, he had burned himself when I was cooking with him before but this was much more intense even though it won't leave a mark it still shouldn't be common for him to be injured, while talking he begins walking out of the bathroom,

"Hey guys! What'cha talking about?" 

"Oh nothing," Midoriya smiled and wasn't at all suspicious, that was sarcasm by the way, Kirishima made a face, slightly sad and I found something else to say,

"We were just talking about class," I spoke up before Midoriya made him more sad,

"Oh the reminds me Todoroki did you miss much class?" I shook my head and he kept talking, "We didn't really miss anything but Present Mic is so loud," Kirishima kept talking smiling as if what happened this morning was just a joke I didn't bring anything up to avoid causing an anxiety attack.

We walked home Kirishima just kept chatting happily with Midoriya encouraging him with questions about Crimson Riot and such, I on the other hand made sure Bakugou wasn't around or going to hurt him, I also kept watch in case that Ito kid came back and hurt him, " Kirishima can I call you by a nickname?" Midoriya finally asked and changed the subject from Crimson Riot, 

"Sure! What do you want to call me? I don't really have any nicknames," Midoriya stood for a moment until he figured it out,

"Cherry!" Kirishima blushed at the nickname and Midoriya smiled, "do you like that one?" Kirishima laughed,

"Yeah! its cute, you could totally call me that!" I laughed, "what?" 

"You like cute nicknames don't you?" Kirishima giggled,

"I do! I like giving people cute nicknames too!" Kirishima Smiled, "I want to think of some for you guys!" Kirishima went silent as he though,

"You don't have to Ei," I wanted to see his reaction when I used a nickname, he gasped,

"Ei? That's so cute! uh, um" Kirishima was bouncing as he tried thinking, " I don't know what to call either of you!" He flopped dramatically on Midoriya's shoulders, 

"You could just call us our names," I patted his head, 

"But I want to call you guys something cute! you called me Ei, and Cherry! I want to make up something nice!" Midoriya laughed when he said that,

"Do you want me to think of something for you?" Kirishima shook his head and was bouncing while humming trying to figure it out,

"Could I just call you, Sho?" he turned to me smiling sheepishly," I'm not good at this but I want to come up with something," he looked awkward and I just smiled,

"It's cute, I like it," He smiled,

"Really?" I nodded he hugged me, "it's Kinda dumb but if you like it than I'll do it!" he smiled and held onto my arm, " Midoriya I don't know what you want me to call you, "

"well I don't mind what you call me, you could just call me my first name," Midoriya smiled and Kirishima bounced,

"well I could shorten it like I did with Shoooooo, Sho," Kirishima was about to call me Shoto, I really didn't care what he called me when he was happy so was I, "So what about, Izu-Chan?" Midoriya smiled,

"That's perfect!" Kirishima smiled, "ah this is my street I'll see you guys later," Midoriya walked off and Kirishima waved,

"Sho?" Kirishima asked after we started walking again,

"Yeah?" 

"I'm sorry I'm such a burden, I know that I drag you through a lot I'm sorry I'm so weak," 

"Kirishima, no, you are no such thing! You are strong and kind you are not a burden and never will be!" 

"Bu-" I cut Kirishima off,

"no buts! don't be so hard on yourself! I know its hard when other people help you but you need to be willing to ask for help, just be kinder towards yourself, you are worth so much more than whatever what on in your head to get to this conclusion," He laughed sadly,

"I- Thanks Sho," he smiled like he was actually happy but I knew he wasn't,

"Of course Ei," I wanted to walk him all the way home but he said he was fine I believed he was fine even thinking about what happened today, fuck I wish I went with him.
