Chapter 3 : And Then We Met

Y/n POV :

Time skip (friday-sunday)

Sunday 9:32 A.M.

As I woke up this morning, the sun in fact was not shining in my face. Instead, it was a dark and gloomy day. But, today was the day where I actually got to meet the stranger things cast! We had to leave at 11:00 just to get there at 11: 30 so I only had two hours to get ready. But today I had to look amazing. I was going to meet Noah Schnapp, so I needed to somewhat impress him but not be too much. So this morning, I just threw on a grey zip up hoodie, a white tank top and some leggings again and left my hair down. I still wanted to impress him but I didn't want to look try-hard.

I sprinted down the stairs seeing that it was 10 o'clock already so that I could watch some TV before I left. But as I expected my mom to come down the stairs all ready, my dad had come down the stairs. Of course I have nothing against my dad, he can just be embarrassing some times. And meeting Noah Schnapp and having my dad embarrass me? That would simply not work.

"Dad, are you sure mom can't take me?"

"Yep. pretty sure, she has an important meeting today so I have to take you."

"But that meeting isn't until 2 p.m. can't she wait?"

"Do you want to meet Noah Schnapp or not?"

Feeling a little annoyed I didn't have any other choice but to accept defeat. "I guess I'll just have to try and lay low... But how do you do that when you're a freaking stranger things actor now?!" I thought.

As my show finished, my dad was done getting ready and it was 10:57 so we had to get going already. Once again I got on my nicest boots and threw on my thinist jacket but this time no one threw a gross pom-pom hat on mt head so I guess that was a bonus.

We arrived at the wherehouse but surprisingly, my dad and I were the only ones there. But instead of staying with me, my dad left so I was all alone. At least there's no one to embarrass me in front of the whole stranger things cast.

I decided I would just sit on a chair in a corner or something and text Leila. I was there alone for about 7 minutes before I heard the door open. Only it wasn't a lot of people, probably about three I would say. I looked up to see who it was and as I did I nearly dropped my phone right out of my hands and in less than a second had my cheeks flushed.

Noah Schnapp had just entered the same freaking room as me.
I saw that he came with his twin sister, Chloe and his mom. But just as my dad did, his mom and his sister left him alone. I was alone with Noah Schnapp. As soon as I saw them leave, I didn't want to seem lonely so I just starred down at my phone and emmediately started spamming Leila.
She, of course didn't answer because the service was really bad.

After looking very dumb, with my flushed cheeks, I heard one singular voice say something. A voice that sounded like Noah.

"Hey, are you new?"

At that very moment I was almost going to blast to the moon, I was so happy. Noah Schnapp had just said hey to me!

"Oh, yeah! I'm Y/n"

I then stuck out my hand for him to shake and we actually, shook hands.

"You probably already know.. But I'm Noah! pleased to meet you" he said with a smile

My heart was about to jump out of my chest I was so full of joy!

"You haven't met anyone here yet right?"

"Nah this is my first time meeting everyone."

"Oh, well in that case, don't worry at all! Everyone is pretty cool."

I then decided to take a moment just to admire Noah's beautiful face but then forgot that this time I wasn't just looking through a screen. So I just blew my shot at being cool. He looked behind himself wondering what I was starring at but then eventually figured out I was looking at him.

"O-oh! sorry!" I said in a shaky tone.

"Don't worry about it it's fine" he said while somewhat laughing.

That moment I felt so embarrassed, I shyly just put my hair behind my ears shamefully when I saw another person walk through that big warehouse door. Finn Wolfhard.

I guess I was just so obsessed with Noah, I forgot about how dreamy Finn is. The way his cheekbones, and his perm define his face makes me go nuts. And his freckles just add to his utterly stunning face. He must have also noticed me starring because he started to chuckle a bit but not enough to make me too embarrassed.
I then stood up and moved to the middle of the room after I realized that they were both trying to interact with me and just having me sitting in a corner while they tower over me is pretty awkward.

"Hi, I'm Finn" He said with a smile.

Oh wow his voice is so dreamy

"I'm y/n!"

we then shook hands and the three of us started talking all together just about the fourth season and whatever came to mind.

I can't believe I'm actually having a fluent conversation with Noah Schnapp and Finn Wolfhard!

The rest must have been a blur because I only remember talking to Finn and Noah and somehow the rest of the cast along with the Duffer Brothers managed to squeeze in.

The whole thing was just a boring meeting talking about all the filming dates and crap but I only remember unsuspuciously starting at Noah and Finn because, how could you not?

As the meeting ended, I texted my dad to come pick me up. But since that warehouse had such amazing service, absolutely none of my messages sent. I was spamming everyone because I needed a way to get home but no one answered. Great. After still none of the messages sent, I decided I would just bus home. I walked to the nearest bus stop, plugged my earbuds in and just sat there waiting for the next bus home.

But as faith would have it, I saw Noah Schnapp's car stop at the exact bus stop I was waiting at. I saw him roll the window down then he asked me,

"hey, y/n do you need a ride"

I thought I was going to die. This is almost like wattpad, Noah freaking Schnapp just asked me if I needed a ride! But I'm not about that.

"Um, no I'm good, it's fine."
I said stupidly

"Are you sure? Fox news sais it' gonna rain soon."

"No way, actually?"

"Yup"

"Okay I guess I could take a ride thank's a lot! " I said with a grin

I then sat in the back seat and Noah even got out of the front to sit next to me. We then talked for the whole rest of the ride to my house and the whole time I was literally pink which was very embarrassing.

We then reached my house and for some reason I was embarrassed I had to ask him for a ride.

"Thank you Mrs. Schnapp!" I said a tad embarrassed.

"Please, call me Karine" she said sweetly.

I then ran up to my house, jumped up on my bed and screamed of joy into my pillow. I just sat in Noah Schnapp's car. I couldn't be happier. Although it sounds ominous, it isn't I'm just really, really happy.

As if my day couldn't get any better, I checked my Instagram to see that I had gained 26.7k followers! I honestly didn't even know how that happened but then remembered that Millie Bobby freaking Brown had posted a selfie we took which she captioned "welcome to the family @Y/n!"

Well now, I'm the luckiest person in the world. How many people at my school can say: " I took a selfie with Millie, sat in Noah Schnapp's car and had a full on conversation with Finn Wolfhard"? Things couldn't be better.
