Kind-of forced, but it needed a push. It is beginning to look like a Marichat story, but I promise you it's only a sliver. The main ship is still in place. Enjoy!

Adrien/Chat Noir's POV

My body guard dropped off everyone besides Mari. As he drove, an awkward silence filled the car. I cleared my throat and tried to break the silence.

"Mari, are you mad at me?"

She looked shocked, almost horrified at that question.

"Of course not! I just..um..you remind me of someone I know that I don't like. Not that I am mad at you, you fine, just appearance looks similar, I could never be mad at you! Why woul-..Annd..Now I'm rambling..."

I laughed. 'No wonder why Mari is so cute! She is perfect, exactly like Ladybug.'

"It's fine Mari, you don't have to be nervous around me."

"I'm not nervous, I'm j...just processing things that happened today..."

'Me too...' The car stopped, and Marinette got out. I called out to her.

"See ya at school t..tomorrow!"

"Y..you too!"

15 minutes later

I groaned as I plopped down on my bed. "I stuttered! I am so lame!" Plagg was half listening to my rambles, half focusing on eating his cheese.

"It's not like she noticed or anything..."

"I'm so insecure like this! Maybe if I act like Cha-"

"You better not be thinking of using me as a tool to get your lady to love you..."

I looked over at Plagg with a pleading face. "Please!"

"No!"

"Just for me?"

"Still No!"

"What if I give you triple Camembert for visiting her?"

"I won- Triple you say?"

I nodded, realizing I hit Plagg's soft spot. "Aged for a month as well..."

"Hmm, well, I suppose so..."

I pumped my fist in the air for the achievement. 'I never actually thought Plagg would do it willingly.' I walked over to my computer, looking at all the details I had up to find out who Ladybug was. It finally all made sense. She was always late, disappearing when Ladybug appeared and vise-versa. Then I realized a depressing fact. 'Ladybug will hate me for knowing her identity. I have to keep it a secret that I know about this.' I groan. 'Why must I be so un-lucky?'

Like, Probably 15 minutes after Patrol that night

I jumped across Paris, lost in thought, knowing full well Ladybug is home now. I jumped onto the roof of the Dupain-Cheng bakery. I made sure to be silent while I was there, so I wouldn't disturb Mari. I walked up and leaned against the railing around the roof. I stood there thinking of everything, until late at night. I jumped off as I went back to my house, contemplating everything I knew. It seemed almost like being a stalker, but not quite. 'Technically, I'm not spying on her, I'm just thinking about her, on her roof, late at night, while she is probably asleep... Ok that is kinda like a stalker though...' I got into my room and barely had time to de-transform before I collapsed on my bed.

Sorry, too lazy to write in filler write meow. (Sorry for the pun, I couldn't help myself....I'm high off of sleep deprivation.)

A whole flippin month later

I made my way over to Mari's house as usual after patrol.I usually felt better prepared to meet Marinette the next day, after spending 30 minutes on her roof. I jumped down silently and leaned against the railing. 'Mari, I wish I could tell you...' I got tears in my eyes as I allowed them to flow out to clear my emotions. Then I heard a voice behind me.

"Chat? What are you doing here?"

I turn around to see Mari on the balcony. She notices my tears, walks up to me, and puts her arm around me. She begins to softly speak.

"Chat? Will you be ok?"

I look at her sincere expression, fall down onto my knees, and buried my hands in my face as I sobbed.

"I don't know if I can do it anymore....Being strong around everyone is impossible for what they ask of me...I've broken....I'm sorry you had to see me like this...I'm so patheti-"

"Chat! Everyone has a breaking point. You are not pathetic, your human. Just like me. You don't have to be strong around everyone. You can tell me anything if you need to. I will always be here to help."

She then wrapped her arms around me, gently rubbing my back. I returned her hug while I buried my face in the crook of her neck as my tears fell. After I stopped crying, I quickly broke the hug and stood up.

"I'm so sorry Mari, I didn't mean to dump all my problems on you!"

She looked at me confused, then laughed.

"It's fine Chat, I don't mind your company. Do you want to come inside for a bit?"

I looked back at her. "I don't want to intrud-"

"Nonsense! Your coming inside!"

Before I can even protest, she grabs my arm and pulls me inside. I smile at this. 'She will always help me, even if I'm not willing. I love her so much...' After we get inside she takes me down to her couch. I then realized something.

"Mari? How come you just let me inside? You barely know me personally. We have only met twice."

She looks over at me, then sighs. "Well, you did help me feel better that one day when Andre got akumatized. Also, I just feel better in general if the heroes feels good enough to help defend Paris."

I smirk, feeling my old self come back. "Are you paw-sitive Pur-incess that you don't have felines toward me?"

She rolled her eyes. "Nope! This Princesses heart as already been taken away."

I felt the pain of rejection coming back, but tried to cover it up. "Who is the lucky guy then?"

She laughed. "Oh wouldn't you like to know...!"

"Come on Princess! Just tell me pur-tty please?"

"How about this, every time I catch you snooping on my roof..."

"I wasn't snooping!"

She laughed. "Then I will give you a hint."

I thought about it for a bit. 'This is probably the best offer I will ever get.' I nodded.

"Ok then, Deal!"

I just....I feel so bad for you guys. The next chapter is just gonna.....suck. I know how annoying introductions and descriptions are, but they are really needed. They shouldn't last though, so that's good.
