Chapter 2: Sweet Serendipity

Justin went back to their mansion, he found his older brother reading something in front of the fireplace.

“How’s your day?” Daniel asked him like a normal person.

 “Interesting.” Justin said and left him, he don’t want to ask a lot of questions to his brother but his brother can still feel his blood.

Daniel can feel that Justin deserves a lot of questions. “How’s Mia?” Daniel added as he keeps on reading, his feet is raised on the edge of the couch.

 His head is lying on a pillow as he reads the diary that is being held up. Daniel’s eyes are clear blue, it looks a bit scary but it’s beautiful.

 His hair is black while his brother’s eyes and hair is brown. “She is a very interesting girl.”

He said before going to his room. “You know that you don’t need to review or whatsoever, we can read people's mind.”

 Daniel said in a loud and clear voice. Their house is full of paintings, the place looks likes it’s been built during the early fourteenth century.

There is a grand piano in their living room on the right side of the fire place. The scene is very breath taking from the balcony upstairs, imagine the balcony scene of Romeo and Juliet.

“I know that brother but I want to do it the right way.” Justin said as he removes his notebook out of his bag.

 “So, you’re back to your old self again tell me about it.” Daniel said and stood in front of Justin.

“Just let me study, please.” He said and looked in his brother’s eyes. It would be great if you could read other people's mind and just relax.

 Justin wants to feel normal, he saw the determination and passion of Mia when it comes to studying.

She is the kind of girl who does not care if she has a big eye bags below her eyes, what matters to her is that she have a high grade.

 “I think someone has a crush.” Daniel said as he pours some vodka in his glass. He sat down next to Justin just to irritate him, one of his hobbies is to upset his younger brother.

 Justin just ignored him and started computing, he’s studying Algebra. Most of the students don’t get it but still they do their best not to fail.

They can’t complain too because it won’t work, Daniel got the paper that Justin is answering and throw it to the fire place. “Now, tell me about her more if you don’t want me to burn all of your stuffs.”

Daniel said and smiled. Justin gave him an icy look “He reminds me of Isabelle okay, happy?” Justin said.

Upon hearing those words, Daniel twisted his lips and left him for good. His younger brother doesn’t want to hurt his older brother’s feelings.

It’s been more than a hundred years since Daniel saw Isabelle. He is still in love with her, she is the last one that he had loved.

 Daniel went back to the couch and sit down, he is again in front of the fire place. He is holding the necklace that he gave to Isabelle, it still looks beautiful.

 It’s the necklace that he gave it to her before Isabelle went to Italy. He just stared at the fireplace and memories suddenly popped in his head.

 He is so desperate in looking for Isabelle but he still doesn’t give up. Most of the time he is going to a lot of countries just to find her.

Justin who is already busy studying flinched when he realise something, he went near Daniel “Don’t you think the fallen will mistake her for Isabelle?”
