Chapter 16: Stay here first

Mia opened her eyes and looked around her, it was completely dark and the only thing that she can hear is her heart beat and the eerie silence.

Her body has been lying in the hospital for a week already.

She looked down and noticed that she’s wearing still her uniform but what struck her is Justin’s cry begging her to come home.

Mia tried to reach her hand to touch him, but all she touched was the cold floor keeping her away from him.

Her body is there in earth while her soul is nowhere to be found.

She gasped for air and looked around her surrounding, “Hello is anybody out there?” her voice echoed.

Mia went to different directions hoping and trying to find some place. She is desperate to find a way to find a way out of this lonely darkness.

Her voice just dropped, “I love you Justin.” She said as tears fell on her cheeks. It’s killing her to see him cry as he waits for her to come back to life.

“Am I dead?” she said to herself weakly.

She looked below and saw group of carnations placed on top of the table next to her. It’s already withered.

It’s their first monthsary but Mia is just stuck and lost for the mean time.

“Where’s Anjelika?” She said to herself. She expects her to be sitting next to her because after all it’s Saturday.

She heard footsteps, “Hello?” She asked in a high pitch manner hoping that someone will help her find her way out.

“Mia?” She said and lifted a candle with her right hand. Mia quickly stood up and hugged her.

“Where are we and what are you wearing?”She asked Anjelika as Mia scrutinized her hairstyle and clothes.

Her hair is curled and is filled with a lot of pretty flowers.

 Mia understands that they are in the fourteenth century.

 She is wearing a green over gown and a pair of simple flats like shoes.
