Chapter 12:Perfect

Mia started answering the questionnaire, she tried to be mean to Kevin as much as possible.

Her past is still taunting her, Kevin just gave her an innocent look.

 “Will you already start answering?”

Mia said in a harsh voice and raised her eyebrow,

 Kevin cracked a smile and slid his fingers in his brown hair.

 “How can I start if you don’t tell me what to do?” he said kindly and waited for Mia to response.

 Mia pursed her lip and looked at the questionnaire,

 “You will answer numbers eleven to twenty. I will answer numbers one to ten, got it?” she asked and looked at him.

 Mia is already through answering so she gave the questionnaire and the paper to Kevin, she gazed at him.

 She shook her head, “This is not right.” Mia said and tried to look away, everything seems difficult to handle.

 Her past.

 The life that she tries to hide away from Justin, she never thought of Kevin since the day that they both became a couple.

 Every time she tries to be kinder to her, she is afraid that she will keep in mind that she is looking at Justin even if she is not.

 Kevin clicked his pen and started answering, he noticed that Mia is looking at him blankly.

 He smiled at continued answering.

 He is faster in solving than Mia, after ten minutes Kevin is already done. “So tell me Mia, what kind of guy he is?”

 Mia just remained silent pretending that she doesn’t know what he is talking about. “Oh, come on Mia.

 Don’t pretend like I don’t know that you already have a boyfriend, it’s difficult not to fall in love with you!”

He chorused for the whole class to hear. They started cheering, Mia blushed.

 “So will you already tell me what kind of guy he is?” Kevin said and looked at Mia’s eyes.

 She pursed her lips, her voice just dropped. “He looks like you.”

 Their classmates gasped and started to talk about her, “What kind of person she is?”

“Bitch.”

“I thought her first boyfriend is Mia.” Kevin stand up and defended Mia, his smile vanished.

“You know what, I am in love with Mia. You know why? It’s because she is indefinable and she is special to me.”

They stopped talking about her.

 Their teacher clapped his hand, “Very well mister Kevin. I must say that I’m impressed.”

 “Are you Mia?” their teacher asked her who is lost again.

 Mia looked at her teacher and just nodded.

 Mia remembered Justin again, his smile and everything about him.

 She tries not to think about him for a while.

 She doesn’t have the strength to stay away from him.

 “Are you okay Mia?” Kevin coaxed and tried to make her happy, even if she is not in love with him he wants to make her feel special.

“You know, I’m okay about us being friends. I love you Mia that’s why I want you to be happy even if it’s not with me.”

 Mia looked at him, “Really?” She asked and gave him a smile. She wants them to be friends because she still cares about him. She was her first love.
