A different route

Prologue

Kyubi roared as Minato sealed the beast inside his only kid and daughter. His team and Hiruzen, accompanied by Fugaku and Mikoto Uchiha his and his wife's best friends looked at them with sadness and tears in their eyes.

"Fugaku I want you to raise my daughter, I've written a letter that explains why. Please take care of her"-said Minato as he coughed some blood because of the claw of Kyubi that had passed through his body and Kushina's.

"Naruko, honey grow strong and independent. Look out for perverts and make a lot of friends. Don't be picky on food and even why I wasn't good in them, get good grades in academy and be a strong ninja like your mother and a smart one like your father. You'll have a nice family to take care of you. Know that your mother loved you so much. I want to tell you so much more...and more and more"-choked Kushina as she cried over her baby. Naruko as she felt her mothers distress started to cry too.

"Naruko I just wanted to tell...well everything your mother said and don't befriend any boy and stay away from them"-said Minato making the others chuckle even if the situation was to cry. He did the last hand seals and sealed Kyubi in his only child as he and Kushina fell in the ground dead.

"SENSEI"-screamed Rin as she ran to heal him

"Rin he's dead but Kushina has a chance"-said Obito with tear in his eyes and Rin ran at Kushina's side. Mikoto took Naruto in her arms as she cried and choked in her own tears as she thought about her dead best friend and her daughter. Fugaku placed a hand in Mikoto's shoulder and looked at Hiruzen who ordered the ninja to help the village. Rin started to cry harder as Kushina passed away and she couldn't do a thing and Kakashi cried away from them not wanting them to see him so weak. He had viewed Minato as his own father and now he was gone. The whole village was mourning about the loss of their loved ones and about the loss of their beloved Hokage.

Hiruzen sighed as he sat in the chair behind Hokage's desk and gestured the others to sit. Mikoto had went to the Uchiha district with Rin and Naruko and the males had gone with Sandaime Hokage in his office.

"We need to keep her heritage a secret"-said Hiruzen and Obito got up

"WHAT? WHY? THAT'S NOT FAIR"-yelled Obito and Fugaku told him to calm down.

"Minato had many enemies and if they found that he had a daughter who has Kyubi sealed in her they might want to kill her or kidnap her and use her against Konoha for revenge against Minato"-said Hiruzen and Fugaku nodded

"She will be protected, she's going to live in the Uchiha district with us. We can protect her, plus Kakashi and Rin will be there with me"-said Obito and looked at Kakashi who sighed

"He's right Hokage-sama"-said and Hiruzen sighed

"What do you think Fugaku"-asked Sandaime and Fugaku rubbed bis forehead

"The kids are right"-he said and Hiruzen nodded

"Very well then. Fugaku your letter"-said Hiruzen as he opened the drawer and took out five letters. He had sent Kakashi to take them from Namikaze house.

"One is for, one for me, one for Naruko, one for his team and one for the village"-said Hiruzen raising an eyebrow. He gave Obito his own, Fugaku his own and opened the one for himself.

(Fugaku)

Fugaku if you're reading this it means I'm dead. A masked man attacked Kushina and Naruko to distract me. He managed to kidnap Kushina and I fear he wants Kyubi.

It seems I was right. Kyubi is free and I need to seal it in my daughter. Fugaku I don't have time but I need to tell you this. I'm going to use the Reaper Seal and I'm going to die. I want you to take in Kushina and Naruko. You see I lied...I knew my father and mother. My mother was Izume Namikaze and my father was Madara Uchiha. I know you might be shocked but it's true. I lived with Madara for six years and then he died and so did my mother. I left the home and came to Konoha, after all it was my father's home. I got my mother's hair and eyes which shocked Madara to the core. Can you believe, a blond Uchiha and Madara's son nonetheless. Anyway I know the masked man, he...he is my twin brother. His name is Izuna, father named him after uncle. Izuna changed when mother and father died, he went in a separate way from me.
Father showed us that he wanted to bring peace to the world by putting it in a genjutsu using the moon but he changed after we were born. After my father and mother died my brother said that he wanted to accomplish father's dream and went away. He was like a true Uchiha, he had black hair, dark blue eyes and awakened the sharingan before me. Yeah I had the sharingan and mangekyou too. We awakened it after our parents died. Izuna...before he went away he lied me telling me we were going to be together forever and put a medic in a genjutsu and ordered her to transplant our eyes so we got the eternal mangekyou but when I woke up my brother wasn't there. He had left me a letter saying that he was going to accomplish father's dream and that I was too kind to follow him. I haven't seen him in years but I highly suspect that the masked man is him. If I'm correct he might come back for Naruko, please protect her and I'm sorry that I hvae kept this a secret but it was for the better.

                       Minato Uchiha Namikaze!

Fugaku rolled the paper and saw the shocked faces of Sandaime, Kakashi and Obito.

"What did he said"-asked Fugaku

"Sensei was an Uchiha and Madara's son wow"-said Obito as he sat again in surprise

"It explains why he was so fond of Obito and had a soft spot for the Uchiha Clan"-mussed Hiruzen and Kakashi nodded

"Well he was the clan heir by right"-said Obito and Fugaku sent him a glare. Hiruzen got up and sighed.

"What's wrong Sandaime-sama"-asked Fugaku

"Minato says to reveal his heritage. He says it would patch things up between the village and the Uchiha clan if they found out that their beloved Hokage was an Uchiha"-said Hiruzen and Fugaku nodded, it made sense. His clan and the village had drifted apart and kept drifting apart. He too got up and followed Hiruzen to the conference room where the council waited.

"Hokage-sama"-screamed a councilman of tbe civilian side and shut up when he saw the look of Hiruzen. He sat in his seat and explained what had happened and Minato's heritage.

"That's not true Minato-sama can't be from that accursed clan"-screamed a woman from the civilian side as the others thought about something. Fugaku gritted his teeth but didn't tell anything.

"Silence"-said Hiruzen and looked at the woman. I have his letter with his sign in it and we can do a blood test."-said Hiruzen and the council nodded

"We need to kill the baby even if she's Minato's daughter"-said another man and Hiruzen glare intensified making the man cower in his seat.

"You really think that he would seal the beast in his only child if the beast bad any option to free itself"-asked Hiruzen and the council closed their mouth.

"I request to train her. Not only she has the Uchiha and Uzumaki bloodline but she is the jinchuriki of Kyubi. I can make her the perfect weapon for the village"-said Danzo and Homura and Kotaru nodded

"No she is going to live in her clan with Fugaku's family"-said Hiruzen

"We can't let that happen the Uchiha will grow in power"-said Hiashi Hyuga

"That's true"-said Tsume Inuzuka and Hiruzen sighed it was going to be a long night.

Fugaku sighed as he entered the house and Mikoto greeted him. The council had agreed to let him keep Naruko by force but that didn't matter. He would look after the daughter of his best friend who was like a brother to him and the prove was the mangekyou Fugaku had awakened when he saw Minato's and Kushina's death.
