A different route

Great Naruko Bridge

Haku looked terrified at Naruko who was growling and her eyes were spinning wildly as they shined bloody red. Naruko ran at the mirror in front of her and punched Haku in the face, breaking the mirror and sending him flying back. Haku got up and his mask fell broken. He saw the anger and pain in Naruko's eyes and felt bad for her. Sakura and Tazuna were frozen in place as they saw Naruko covered in that res chakra. Sakura knew that Kyubi was sealed in the daughter of Yondaime but seeing Naruko like this terrified her.

"Please kill me! I'm no longer any use for Zabuza-sama. He doesn't need a broken tool"-said Haku and braced himself to be killed. Naruko snarled and ran at him but stopped her fist only millimetres away from Haku's face. Her mangekyou glowed crimson as the red bubbly chakra disappeared. Haku blinked and Naruko lowered hed fist.

"Just go before I change my mind"-said Naruko and turned around walking toward Sasuke. Haku was going to stop her when he heard thousands of chirps. He looked behind him and saw Obito with his hand covered in lightning and electricity and was going to thrust it to Zabuza's heart. She quickly formed a ice mirror and teleported himself in front of Zabuza and took the blow. Obito blinked and Zabuza took this as a chance to kill him. He swung his sword down to cut in two Haku and Obito but he dropped his sword and coughed blood.

Obito looked surprised at Zabuza and then saw behind him and got shocked to what he saw. Naruko had thrusted her katana to Zabuza's heart but her eyes were different, they were black with a red flower, she had awakened the mangekyou...but that meant...Obito looked where Sasuke had been fighting Haku and saw Sakura crying over Sasuke.

"Naruko"-asked Obito as he saw her dried tears and hugged her. She finally broke and started to cry and choke on her tears as she remembered Sasuke's and Haku's words.

She started to cry harder and burrowed her face in Obito's chest as he rubbed her back. Soon they heard someone clapping their hands and saw Gato surrounded by dozens of thugs and mercenaries.

"I have to thank you for dealing with Zabuza and Haku. It just made it easier for me to kill you all"-said Gato and Naruko looked in his eyes with so much anger and hate. Gato was smiling but then screamed as he was covered by black flames. The thugs looked shocked and terrified and looked back at Naruko who was looking at Gato. Naruko sensed eyes on her and looked at the thugs. As Naruko turned her head the flames started to move toward where she was looking and started to burn the thugs. The ones who wasn't covered by them ran away and some fell in the water to escape.

"Naruko stop sending chakra to your eyes"-said Obito concerned as he saw blood coming from Naruko's left eye. She stopped the flow of chakra in her eyes and they turned to her ocean blue eyes. He took her in his arms and went where Tazuna and Sakura were and then heard Sakura scream.

"He's alive"-Naruko jumped from Obito's arms as soon as she heard Sakura and went by Sasuke's side. Sasuke was getting the needles out of his body when he felt Naruko hug him. He enjoyed the hug and was going to enjoy it more if she wasn't pushing the needles more deep. He hissed in pain and Naruko backed up grinning sheepishly and then out of blue hit Sasuke on his head.

"Don't you ever dare do that to me understand"-said Naruko her hair floating in the air like Kushina's. Sasuke gulped and nodded

"Good"-said Naruko and went back to normal.

Naruko and team seven stayed for a week in Wave and helped Tazuna to finish building his bridge. Well Naruko helped with hundreds of clones. It always fascinated the villagers and even more the young boys who were hoping to get a Naruko for themselves. And as always Obito was there scaring them away and protecting Naruko.
