"How may I help you sir?" I asked calmly pulling the covers up to my chest.
"Why you keep playing with me?" He asked gruffly. I looked around him and saw he was still in bed too.
"Why didn't I get my paragraph?" I asked. He sucked his teeth and said, "Cause you don't need one."
I shook my head and smiled. "Good morning Bashar," I said, watching his reaction. He smirked a little and rubbed his beard before saying good morning back.
"August and Leon here so get ready," I heard a female voice say and I assumed it was Jazmin. Sure enough, she popped up in the camera a couple of seconds later.
"Oh! Hi Eva," she said grabbing the phone from him. "Mmcht, call her on your own phone," Bashar said impatiently.
"Go shower so you can eat so we can leave," Jazmin told him. I stretched in Ayu's guess bedroom and listened to the two go back and forth.
"Always rushing someone," Bashar said lowly. "Yes, now off you go," Jazmin retorted, never missing a beat.
Once he left she turned back to me and grinned. "How old are you?" She asked. "I just turned 19 in July," I told her.
"July? What day?" She asked a little too curious. "The 1st. Why?" I muttered. "Bashar's birthday is the 20th," she said and I laughed.
"Imagine two cancers in a relationship? Y'all finna make my head hurt," Jazmin muttered and I smiled. "Well, we aren't there yet so, you have time," I told her.
