Chapter XVI. Family!

"Just keep these here it will come handy next time" i said to mia and drove off the way she blush the way redness grace her chicks made me happy because i have that kind of effect on her, she just stand there and stared at me, ohh I LOVE HER she is definately the one for me and i promise i wont let her go, not now not ever she is MINE. While i was driving i saw the envelop nate gave me, will check once i reach office.

Once i made my way to office building and gave my keys to patrick my vallet boy to park the car then i remembered the envelop was still on the car seat so i went back and retrieved it from there, i placed it securely inside my suit pocket, i made my way towards the elevator, i was smiling all the way up ignoring all the looks my staff giving me, it must have looked odd to them but i just headed towards my cabin, i sat behind my desk and took out the envelop, i opened the envelop and found a postcard size photo, instantly making my smile wide, because the photo was not just any other photo but it was Mia holding little nathan in her arms securely, may be he was around months or something, and when i turned the photo there was something written backside,

it say in bold letters " WELCOME TO FAMILY ADAM" Family that sounds beautiful, so i took out my phone and saw Mia tested me thanks informing me that the mainatainance team fixed the unit back, and then i called nathan the call got connected and nathan picked it in first ring as if he was waiting.

" Have you saw it ?" before i say something he asked

" Yes buddy thank you" i thanked him

"Hmm Adam keep it safe ok?" he said

"I will treasure it so tell me whats this drawing competition of yours is about?" i asked him

"It's held in next week the day happens to be on Mothers day so our teachers told to prepare a drawing idea which we will be dedicating our mothers, and it is compulsory whole family will attend, so I asked you to come along" nathan said

" So have you decided what will you draw? " i asked him

"Amm yes i have something in mind.." he paused

"Hmm do you need my help i do have little bit of knowledge about art too if you want i will help you"

"Ya i got that you have knowledge about drawings, its just that mommy dont understand, everytime i paint i have to explain it to her, and i must tell you explaining her is big task, she keeps asking questions!!" he said which made me laugh this kid i must say is total brat complaining about her, i wonder what will be Mia's reaction when she will hear.

"Ok so what do you want me to do?" i asked

"Nothing just please come for the competition and when i will dedicate my drawing to mommy, will you explain that to her? please!!!!" Oh so he needs me for that huhh smart kid

"Okay will do that"

"THANKS ADAM YOU ARE THE BEST!!!" nathan shouted excitedly.

"BYE BUDDY TAKECARE See you Soon" and i ended the call, i was thinking for a kid of his age he is smart and is talented too i have seen his drawings the way he draws has a fine precision to each strokes.

~ knock knock ~

A knock came on door and next came a very worried Mike he was tensed and serious he came straight towards my desk pulled the chair and sat without a word, he was mute, i wont bother so i just continued to check some proposal

6,5,4,3..

"BRO I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU" he said

"Hmm"

"Hmm ? what do you mean by Hmm?" he said questioningly

"What do you want Mike?

"I want to know everything" he wiggled his eyebrows

"Meaning?"

" Meaning this morning you rushed out of house saying MIA is sick, and then an hour later you asked for new clothes, i want to ask SOMETHING  HAPPEN? WHY YOU NEED CHANGE OF CLOTHES HMM HMM" he kept wiggling his eyebrows ,

" What do you mean?" i sometimes got irritated  because of his childish behaviour.

" Ohh come on bro you left house in morning hurriedly, then you called me for clothes, then you entered office with 700 hundered Volts Smile on your face, see even now you are smiling, there must be something happen which made the Tyrant like you smile, no wonder the the office is shining today hihihi" yeah its true am smiling

"I had breakfast with Mia "

"Thats it you had breakfast with her and what about her sickness?"

" Nathan made that up"

"Ohh its turn out that nothing happened, and here i am thinking so many possibilities huhh my bad"

"Grow up Mike!!!"

"Yay yay yay amm whats that" he pointed towards the envelop and i just handed it to him

" Aww adorable isnt he?" he saw the picture and said

" Hmm Nathan is smart kid"

"She looks young" mike's comment made me think it is true mia was very young in picture may be in early 20's, mike gave me the picture back and i placed it in my wallet securely.

"So nathan accepted you ha ?"

"Right now we are just friends"

" Dont worry bro in no time you will become DAD from friend i have faith in you, which made me remember next week Mothers day, what will you gift her this time"

" I haven't thought about it yet"

"So how about you gift her Daughter in law as a gift" he asked hiking his eyebrows.

" SOUNDS GOOD" i said and went back to the document i was reading earlier.

" So shall I send the picture?"

" No I will call her and will do that after words" he nodded and went back to his office.
