"We're all reading this, and I know you're not feeling the best but it'd help if you could too," Scott told me, holding a soft smile on his lips.

"Gladly" I laughed "I've been dying for something to do"

Scott cracked a smile passing me a makeshift copy of a book that supposedly holds some answers to the craziness that's going on around here. I took the pages from him, giving it a quick flick through before placing it on my side table. "Has Isaac not been keeping you company?" The Alpha asked.

My smile dropped, and I slowly gazed back to Scott standing to the side of my bed. "No" I answered, blankly.

There was a silence that rested for a moment before he spoke again "...What happened?"

I sighed, closing my eyes, "I-i don't know... Silly fight... We'll get over it" I lied. Honestly, I don't have clue if we'll get through this.

"Okay," He nodded. "I should get going, I need to give out a couple more. Call me if you find anything"

"Same goes for you" I replied.

I spent the next few hours going through the book, honestly, it made absolutely no sense. No matter how many times I went over it I couldn't seem to get very far. By the end of the book, there was only one piece of valuable information. It was dedicated to Dr Gabriel Valack.

I grabbed my phone and immediately called Scott.

"Hey, Y/n, I was just about to call you--"

"--Scott you have to go to Dr Valack!" I cut him off, throwing my cover to the side.

"We know, I'm with Kira getting ready to go to Eichen. Lydia and Stiles are coming too" Scott replied calmly.

"I'm getting discharged tonight if you wait I'll come with you!" I told him.

"No, no you need to relax. Malia and Isaac aren't going either just focus on getting better so you can help us later on" He explained, and I sighed dropping my shoulders.

"What time are you leaving?" I replied.

"In a couple of hours, 9, Why?" Scott questioned and I smiled to myself.

"I'll see you there"

"Hellloo??" Lydia asked pressing the annoying call button again. "Anyone there?" she asked before sighing.

"Maybe it's broken?" I suggested, looking to the gates that stood intimidatingly in front of us. Lydia tried the buzzer again as Kira shifted between which leg to lean on, she seemed uneasy. "You okay?" I asked looking at her beside.

"Hmm?" She asked, looking to me confused.

"I asked if you were okay" I replied.

"Oh, yeah. Are you sure you should be here? You've barely recovered" Kira deflected.

I looked at Lydia as she waited for an answer from me as well, " Yeah, I'm good. A little stiff but good" I shrugged just as the gate buzzed and flew open an inch.

Scott turned away from Stiles by the jeep and they both looked to us, we all shared a glance before moving towards the gate. This place was creepy, to say the least, it was not only a hospital for very mentally ill patients but also a permanent home for the dangerous supernatural creatures they could get their hands on. Personally, I'm not surprised, Malia didn't want to come back here.

We quickly headed up the stairs and towards the gloomy building as the weather around us started to worsen. The air seemed thick with unspoken fear and tension which only seemed to build as the gate behind us slammed shut. Glancing between each other we stopped for a moment before quickening our pace into Eichen House.
