Why, why did she vanish, I pointed at her that was it and.. And she vanished with nothing smoke or sparks, nothing. As I paced around the room asking myself the same question WHY. When I heard a knock on the door, I stopped and opened it in the doorway was a young looking, woman staring straight at me with eyes that could kill, but a kind smile spread across her face as she looked me up and down
"Cassie?" she said in a slight whisper
"Yes, strange woman standing at my bedroom door" I answered, knowing it was rude, but I couldn't take it back now
"I have something very important to tell you"
I didn't let her finish
"We maybe I have something very important to tell you"
"What?" she looked curious to what I had to say
"That I need to be left alone and how did you get in here anyway mum is down stairs and."
Now it was her turn to interrupt
" Your mum let me in through the front door the way the mortals do it" she sounded disgusted by.... The way we mortals do it?
"And she knows who I am anyway. So I heard you made someone vanish that's very impressive for someone your age and " she paused and finished
"Kind"
"Kind what kind am I, " I said in an impatient tone
"You're a witch" she said as casual as anything in the world
" I'm a what?"
"A witch"
"So am I and your mother but not your father since he was mortal your powers did come through until you were 16 and when was your birthday?"
"Yesterday"
"And what did you turn?"
"16" I said with disbelief
2 hours later I'm in the back of a car driving to a high school for witches? ... I still cant believe what I'm hearing every time someone called me a witch so lets re-cap it took me an hour to pack half an hour yelling at my mum and 15 minutes with my mum yell/crying at me then the car the most boring car on earth. I mean seriously who has a care but has no personal items in it.
About 1 and a half hours later we arrive at an old castle that just looked like a ruin you could even see straight through the middle with the insides rubble ever where and rotting pieces of wood this couldn't be it, could it?
