Li Na's POV:
It was the next day, and I was already thinking of what to wear to this dance that was literally this weekend yet I felt I needed to prepare everything in advance. As Lucas went to take a shower, I was now in the room alone, searching for dresses on the local shops websites. I heard the door close to the room and figured it was Lucas so I continued scrolling. I felt someone sit behind me on the bed and soon felt arms around me as Sicheng's deep voice rang through my ears. "You'd look beautiful in any of those." He said as he kissed my cheek before laying his head on my shoulder to watch.
"Thank you." I blushed as I kept looking. Eventually I came upon a red dress that was two pieces. It was beautiful and had a beautiful shimmer to it. "I love it." Sicheng said, knowing I was looking at that certain dress even though there were others on the screen. I clicked on it and saw that they still had it so I decided to rush to get it. I threw on a hoodie and brushed my hair and teeth quickly as Sicheng watched me, smiling. "You should go with me. Maybe you can pick out a suit." I said. "You want to go in public together in a place like that?" He asked.
"Yes, we can stand apart if you want." I said. He nodded and stood up and started to go to his room. "Where you going?" I asked. "To get ready." He said. "You look perfect as you are." I said, making him smile. "Thank you. But you're the perfect one." He said as he got closer. He leaned forward to kiss me suddenly but stopped as Lucas walked in, accidentally interrupting. "Oops, sorry." He said, trying to look away. "It's okay, we're heading out to go to the dress shop and tailor." I said. "Can I go?!" He said excitedly.
"Sure, but we are leaving right now." Sicheng chimed in. "He threw his towel down after drying his hair some more and spoke. "Ready." He said. We shook out heads but headed out anyways, ignoring the boys playing the video games as usual in the living room as they never even paid attention to us leaving anyways. We began to make there walk there until they heard many footsteps coming down the driveway behind them. We looked behind us to see the other boys following. "Are you guys going to town?" Yangyang said as he ran in front of the group.
"Yes, why?" Lucas asked before we could. "We wanna go with." He said as he caught up and the others walked at a normal pace. Sicheng wanted to object, I could tell it in the look on his face but I couldn't ignore how excited the others boys looked for this little trip to the store. "Fine you can go, but you have to stay with us and we are going shopping for the dance." I said. They all nodded and began their little discussions of their own as I walked a little ahead with Sicheng to talk to him quietly.
"I knew they would do this, they are everywhere." He laughed. "It's okay, we can still go off and do our own thing while they look around." I said as he smiled at me. I so badly wanted to hold his hand but I couldn't as the other boys were just feet behind us. That was the worst part about this whole thing is not the keeping the secret thing, it was the fact that I couldn't physically show Sicheng how I felt, and he couldn't either. Finally, they walked into the store, only seeing a few people from school shopping for the same things.
I quickly started looking in my sizes as I knew the dress I was looking for was my size. Sicheng lingered around, looking at some of the tuxedo displays on the wall. While the other boys went to look at the ones on the racks. I found the dress as I saw another girl eyeing it so I swooped in and grabbed it before she could. I sighed in relief as I went to tell Sicheng secretly, facing the opposite direction. I told him I was going to the changing room and he nodded as I started to walk away. I slid into the changing room and closed the curtain.
I tried on the dress quickly and stood there to admire it, it was beautiful. Before I knew it, Sicheng slipped into the changing booth, making me jump. I turned around and admired the suit he found that he was wearing, it matched my dress. "You're stunning." He said. I remained speechless as I admired him. "You too." I finally managed to say as he got closer, a smile on his face. "Don't worry, nobody saw me come in." He said as he noticed me being kind of nervous. Soon, he leaned forward and kissed me deeply, surprising me at his neediness.
I kissed back as it became more passionate and he pushed me up against the wall. Eventually we both remembered that we were in public. And laughed it off shyly. "I'll let you get changed back, I am going to buy the dress for you, it is perfect." He said, making me blush as he slipped out of the changing room and back to his, almost slipping along the way, making me try not to laugh. I changed quickly and waited for Sicheng to get done as I noticed the other boys had also picked out all of their suits.
Sicheng came out and slipped me money for the dress and I bought it quickly as I saw the girl who had eyed it before giving me a mean look.
